I've always been very paranoid about flying with my cues in checked baggage. That, plus lack of talent, are the main reasons I'm not travelling all over to play in tournaments.

Yeah, I had a the bad experience I talked about in the video where Delta destroyed my $1300 cue and $400 Instroke case. I’ve been paranoid ever since, hence my journey that the video went over. You used to be able to carry them on board before 9/11. They almost changed the rule about 7 years ago and for some reason they indefinitely postponed the new rule. I wish I was good enough to travel just to play in tournaments but I’m far from that. I was lucky enough to travel all over the place for work and I wanted to take my cues. I got to play in some cool countries like Japan. I have a new job now though and don’t travel anymore. I do miss it a little.

@@PoolAddiction I ended up buying one of the Longini cases you talked about. Just to have it mainly. I'm supposed to get it today and will review my initial impressions. It will be different than any of my other cases. My main case will continue to be my It's George, though.

Fed Ex and send a cheaper cue.

That definitely works well if everything is planned. Unfortunately, when I was traveling for work, we moved all over the place at a moment's notice. Shipping is a real good option if you're going to Vegas for national tournaments. Thanks for the comment and for watching!

I've packed my cue case in my roll away luggage. It just fits in on a corner to corner with the ends padded with my clothes. The hard case is made of the very stiff foam that have the tube hole for the cue which is a 4x8 case. Now just like one of your cases the cues do stick up a bit into the lid. But the luggage is 32 L x 13 W x 13.5 H and so far I've never had any problems and this a some what a soft duffle bag. I've been wanting to get a JB case now but it come a little taller and the case then won't fit, not sure if I can find a luggage that will meet the airline required limit for size, without having to pay extra. But I liked your video and I'm glad that someone else likes JB cases.

You’re welcome! That one is definitely one of my top bags I like. If need a big bag, you can’t go wrong with that one. Built like a tank!

Yes, it was a lot of fun, thanks! I am slowly getting my other social media stuff set-up and a Facebook page is one of them. I am still learning a lot of this stuff as I go right now.

useful information i had a bad experience with rain once so i bought a travel bag of ebay it's not bad for going back and forth but I'll look into one of the ones you talked about thank you for the video

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. As i was saying in the video, I to had a bad experience with the airlines ripping up my case and breaking my cue even though I had it in a box with clothes wrapped around my case. Traveling all the time, I wanted something to not only protect my cues and case from damage but also protect from theft. These are some of things I found in my journey towards finding the best option for traveling with my cues. I wanted to show some ideas and get people thinking outside the box with bag ideas since it can be hard to find a bag that fits a cue case. I hope you liked the video and thanks for watching!

I hope it helps. You have an honorable mention. I have to apologize in advance though because it’s really long, about 48 minutes. It covers a bunch of different bag sizes. Will you be watching the premiere?

I’m not sure. Right now, I doubt it but plans can change. I’m starting a new job so I won’t be traveling all the time anymore so it makes it easier to go but I haven’t thought that far ahead yet. If I do I will definitely let you know.

@@PoolAddiction Also just wondering would you do a review on the Cuetec cynergy breach break cue and the Cuetec Propel jump cue one day? :D
@PoolAddiction
@PoolAddiction 3 года назад
I will see what I can do. I will be doing a jump cue video sometime this year. I don't want to say the brands but it will 2 jump cues in one video. I did test a Propel once and had mixed feelings on it but I didn't really have enough time with it to draw a good conclusion. I hope you liked the video, I know you were waiting forever.
