Looked like such a fab experience! The max I’ve gone for so far is premium economy. One of these days I might treat myself to business class and hopefully don’t get addicted😅 Really enjoy living vicariously through all of your vlogs. Still bummed I had to skip NYC but hoping for Paris in 2025🩷

Fabulous to see your experience of all of this after hearing about it! First Class looks amazing and I definitely want to try that one day! ❤ Although you obviously had much more choice and fancier offerings in terms of food and drink, when it came to the service we were equally well looked after in Premium Economy, so I think that is a testament to the service from BA and their staff. The lounge at the start of the trip is an absolute definite bonus though!! 🍾🥂 I felt the same in the luxury stores at Heathrow - they were so attentive and on me all the time I just could not film anything!! I’ve never been treated so well in Hermès lol! 😂
💯% agree! I can't fault BA in any class, they really do look after their passengers. ✈️🇬🇧 So funny, Hermès was the only boutique with a customer in, and she was being told 'no, we don't have one, or that, or those" so even though they were helpful, they really weren't helpful! 😂🤣 x

I have flown BA first class once and the service was exceptional. I didn’t think the seats were much better than business. I was glad for the experience, but I wouldn’t pay for it over business. It’s definitely I think is worth doing at least once.
I would agree with you; the jump from Premium Economy to Business is far more noticeable than Business to First. But if we can get the deal on First we got for this trip again I'd take it! 😜✈🍾
That was an awesome experience flying first! ❤. Looks like you flew into Newark and got to experience one of the tunnels! Getting around the city by car is a nightmare, so glad you were in a good central location. Loved the pajamas, you looked adorable!
@@StyledByGwenny I’m curious how you ended up going through the tunnel. Your driver must have detoured somewhere. That ride from JFK can be brutal and often they will avoid the Belt Parkway. I’m excited to hear your impressions of NYC as a first timer! Looks like you both felt right at home!
I used to fly from the Middle East to London and moan about it. My west coast Canadian and Aussies mates would give me withering looks… then I moved from UK to NZ 😵. Nowadays in Aus I consider 9hrs short haul 😂.
Scale is key! 🌎🌍🌏😂 Technically, anything over 5 hours out of the UK is classed as long haul and gets you a bigger plane! We flew Business to Rome once, that was really disappointing! 😬
Absolutely love this video!❤ I’ve done BA First once before and have another trip in it booked early next year to NYC. The Concorde lounge is lovely- dare I say we always ensure we are checked in way to early so we can make full use of it!!!😂 I think we have a 4 hour lay over in Heathrow next time just for this! The joy of the BA sale and avios points 😂😂😂😂. Although I will say First doesn’t mean any better space in those plane loos! It’s difficult getting changed into those pjs 😂😂Pleased you had such a good time xx
Our plan was to have extra time in the Concorde Room, but the M25 had other ideas! 😳 We still enjoyed the time we had there, definitely the best way to start a holiday! 🥂 Agree the loos could be a little bigger! (ahem, BA, take a look at Emirates! 😏🚿) 😘

Hello Gwenny, this has just come up in my recommendations, possibly because I returned from JFK Friday, flying with BA Bus Class from LHR. What a fun Vlog & First Class looked 'absolutely fabulous, darling'! ❤ I simply loved your goegeous PJ's. They were very lush & the colour totally suited you. I immediately wondered if you have ever been a brunnette? A rich shiney brunette style would really suit you, very luscious to match your personality & channel. I have tonnes of Avios & and I am looking to return again to JFK next year, so I will definitely try to book First Class - it really has to be done once! Thank you, enjoy NY & maybe try to visit Long Island too if you get the chance & time. I'm back to NY flying with Virgin UC return in October - the Fall in the US is simply stunning 🎃🍁. Soooooo, The Lion was looking up LHR-JFK First Class flights in the sale and found some great deals for June 2025 (I think), 1/2 the price of Business tickets! Worth a look! Ab fab indeed! ✈🍾 I am indeed a natural brunette, well, I used to be, I'm mostly grey these days! I was never a rich brunette, more of a mud brown! 😂 Thanks for watching, fellow Gwen! 💕
Welcome to NYC Gwenny - you're home now but I'll enjoy seeing things through your eyes. I'm in a NYC suburb but rarely visit, foolishly take it for granted at this point, don't love the crowds, noise, bustle, etc... The first class experience - wow!
I think we're all a little guilty of taking what's on our doorstep for granted! I've never gone sightseeing in London! 😱 (I also don't like crowds etc) OMG First Class was DREAMY! ✈🍾

It’s about time! I’ve been waiting for your vlogs! Now that’s the way to travel, I flew Aer Lingua which is the same group as BA, but we get the small planes from Dublin! It wasn’t as fancy as this first class x
@@StyledByGwenny ha ha it’s not uncommon for us to drive 12 hrs so to watch movies and be served food during waking hours is a plus. But any sleep flight gotta be business! One day first! If you can be a diva, be a diva!
We booked Business tickets for more than 1/2 price off in the BA sale, and were offered the upgrade for an additional £300 each. This means the First Class flights cost less than half of the normal Business Class flights. We're always looking for a deal because even Business Class flights are EXPENSIVE! ✈️🥂✨
