Here I discuss whats currently going on in my experience and why I haven't been uploading as regularly. I also go into detail about the worst airport experience I've had so far. Wow is traveling pushing me outside of my comfort zone, that's the beauty of it though. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel!

I thought all airlines had the 7 kilo rule. Surprised you didn't have to check it before. Get some rest bro. Try not to make any serious decisions anytime soon and take it easy. Much love ❤️

It's crappy that you had a crappy time in India. I hope that it hasn't clouded your opinion on such a vast and diverse country. I think a little bit more research would probably have guided you in a better direction. A number 1 mistake a lot of travellers have when coming to India, especially Delhi, is that they stay in Paharganj. They stay there for 2 reasons, the selection of super cheap accomodation and being in the middle of the madness. Paharganj is good to visit for an hour or so to explore it, but it is not a good place to stay. it's the more grittier, and therefore dangerous part of the city to live in. Mr recommendation when coming to Delhi... Stay in South Delhi. Hauz Khas area is beautiful, hippy and is adjacent to the deer park- also (much) less intense. Delhi metro is so well connected, that even in South Delhi, it shouldn't take you more than 10-15 minutes to get to the main sights in Delhi central. Another mistake travellers make is not getting their sim card from inside the airport. Yes, you will be paying slightly more (by Indian standards), but it saves you the day and a half struggle of trying to find a sim outside on the streets. Also it'll allow you to use UBER... UBER and OLA are the way to travel within India. A lot of travellers want to come to India and start their journeys off in the busier areas like Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi... Because that is what they see as 'India'. However, my advice to a lot of travellers is... Why not start off your Indian adventure somewhere less intense- but no less Indian... Like South India- Kerala etc. It's greener, airy, more spacey, less intense and a lot less LOUD... yet, is still Indian. North East india, like Sikkim- or areas that border Bhutan, Nepal etc are the same... except mountainous, snowy, very :New Zealandy"- with stunning views. Maybe @DavidBrann, when you next come to India (and hopefully you will), try South India instead. Kerala, Kochi, Puducherry (all of these are a short flight or a days train journey away from Chennai)- these areas seem more suited to your comfort zone. Especially if you're use to South-East Asia, as South India feels more like South East Asia- especially considering that is is predominately Tamil in these areas too- Something you will be use to living in Malaysia. Also once you've finished exploring South India, you can make the choice and catch a flight to Sri Lanka as well (only 1 hour away by plane) if you fancy. Also another tip about staying in India... Whilst everything else can be very cheap there, try and not cheapen out on accomodation- do a lot of research. Homestays are great in India, so do check out those on air bnb. Hopefully I've given enough advice. Just a shame I couldn't give this to you before you visited.

Yeah this would have come really in hand before I arrived. Thanks for the long and detailed comment though, I now have a better idea of where I should go for my next trip there. Thanks a lot!

@@DavidBrann3 Not a problem at all. Despite my long post- I forgot to mention one more thing lol. I mentioned trying to get a SIM card at the airport. Well I realised after I posted that that so far only New Delhi has a mobile sim booth at the airport. The others don't (so far). In that case, you can always contact your accommodation/ airbnb host and ask if they can get one on your behalf before you arrive. They'll be quite use to this request- trust me. As a courtesy, as they will be taking the SIM card out on their name, it's best to tip them around RS200+ cost of sim... which will still be cheaper than the sim packages you get back at home and it will save you a lot of hassle. Also when booking long train journeys... Might be worth booking 1st or 2nd class- it's more comfortable- it's usually AC- and you'll get a little more privacy. Although 3rd class is ok for anything shorter than 2 hours. So general rule of thumb for trains in India (and sri lanka) more than 2 hours - 1st or 2nd class... less than 2 hours- 3rd class. Sorry for bombarding you with info lol... But best to know right
