great first day in New York, we'd love to go back someday. Rob did the tour of the building at 30 Rock and saw Saturday Night Live rehearsing, but didn't know you go to the top
Our Aug 2022 trip we flew to Washington for 3 days then took the Amtrak to nyc for a week then Toronto for 4 days was such a great trip we did every tall building with the city pass we loved every minute of it x
Love New York, been fortunate to have been twice, not a bad flight from Manchester, but never used the subway, walking much better, you see all the sights 🥰

Ah NYC. So glad they named a street after me. The food looked great but oosh, the prices! That room was amazingly big for a NYC room. Makes us wanna go back now! 😂

What a lovely clear sunny day. Great views and great tip for Top of the Rock. Very interested to see you all on the subway, I have been wondering about that as in cleanliness and safety. Grand Central Terminal is something else, I had no concept of all that was there, nor the size.
It’s a long time since we’ve been but our room was tiny and very noisy, we never used the subway so that was interesting to see, that view from the top of the rock was fantastic, Thankyou Mr and Mrs Bazza, enjoyed seeing Nick and Leigh too xx

Holy roller coaster, Bazza: the MO Lounge to $1 (almost) pizza! BTW, at least on AA at a kiosk you can re-enter your KTN and re-print your boarding pass with Pre-check.
Hey you both, fantastic to see you in NY. 26 years since I was there...Eddison Hotel in Times Sq...back then free to go up the Empire..and visited the Gorgeous Rainbow Rooms in the Rockerfeller..I don't know how you put up with Nick.. that school boy on trips rushing ahead, the Know All...pointing out the obvious...Jesus 😂😂😂 Can't wait to see the next installment.
New york is one of my fave place's been a few times but never used the subway system worried I would get lost.Going again at the start of next year so might try on that trip
Good to see you enjoying NYC with the Guys. Not a good start to the day though. Shirl had the same TSA issue when we came home from Florida last October. Looking forwards to part 2. Heading over next Wednesday for a while.
I love the subway , it’s brilliant and cheap ! I love Newyork when it snows it’s magical , it used to be my January holiday when we were working ! We’d do 4 or 5 nights NY and 10 days orlando!

We were told by a New York colleague of Andy’s about the whispering thing at Central Station and had a meal there at a restaurant he recommended. Bet Nick was excited about how many films were filmed there. Would love to go to NY on Paddy’s day being Irish.
Funny that you met the boys , I guess that’s why you went there so you could meet up ? 👍 we’ve visited NYC a few times from UK and absolutely loved it . It’s a very free feeling place where you feel safe , despite all the hustle nd bustle . Very easy to get around on foot as it’s just a big grid really directionally . We stayed just by grand central .. literally opposite and another time on 39th /6th with a roof top bar on top of our hotel it was called the METRO . The view at night from the outside roof bar was of Empire State in all its glory . Tiny rooms but perfectly formed. A must do , is to go to canal street , china town and little Italy , and the free ferry across Staten Island . We literally walked everywhere to take in all the sites but 1 tube to canal street , where we met Adrien Grenier sitting right next to us😳 star struck to say the least . We also did the night bus tour across the bridge which was spectacular with that icon view of the city skyline in the dark Wow I wish I was there ! September is the best time weather wise I feel . Enjoy 😊

yeah they are further behind in vlogs their next vlog will be their pre travel day for new york so it will be a while before we see theirs it is cool to see a little of it. its like we're cheating a little haha loved seeing you all especially testing the echo in the tunnel. i thought British people come all the way hear and talk into corners! *being cheeky* hope you all had a great time!

Love New York!!! Ah so you can slide your bank card but not the way out ? I guess as long as it’s a MasterCard or something with that logo from the uk. That’s good to know. My mum and I used to buy a card which you pay $5 for or something and load it Up. Love New York so much.

I always think, how do people know how to use the subway over there 🫣 I’m glad it’s not too difficult. I’ve heard about the smell of weed 🙊 defo something I’m not a fan of.
