Regarding the arm rest on the Aer Lingus flight ; we travelled to and from Orlando in July on the same flight and it was only when we were landing back home we noticed a USB charging port on the underside / front of the arm rest 😅 Flown with them twice and never knew they had these until we went again in July! Brilliant vlog as always guys.
I’ve just discovered your channel. Very informative video. I’m flying Aer Lingus in May and have noticed their personal item bag size is quite small compared to even the cheapest budget airlines, did you find that the under seat area is smaller than usual, or have any problems with your personal items?
Hello, Ah that’s very kind. Thank you. We’re so glad you found our vlog informative. We absolutely loved both times we’ve used Aer Lingus (we used them to fly to New York too). Honestly, the under the seat space seemed a little smaller than other airlines. If you have a bigger personal item it will restrict the space for your feet during the flight. I only took a very small personal bag and everything else went in the over head lockers. I wasn’t uncomfortable though. I’m 5 foot 1 and Ant is 5 foot 7 and we both were fine. Hope that helps. oooh I do love a travel day. What a handy travel hack! I would never have known to text myself the flight number to get all that information. I will definitely be doing that in the future. Fun Fact we live near Marshfield farm (not too far anyway) The All Star rooms look nice since their refurbs. I am so impressed that you went into the parks on your first day. You two do such great trip reports!! Lucas watched the airport and flight part with me before he left to fly. Air Lingus looked pretty nice! Last time I was at WDW (NINE 😳 years ago for TA training) my best friend booked us at All Star Movies for our first night before moving to Beach Club for training. We liked it!! Comfy and the food court breakfast was nice. We stayed in the Toy Story section and had a blast taking photos around all the big toys and such. 😁 I booked people with Mears quite a few times if they weren't taking Disney Express (back in the day). Good company! Fun times. More Disney! More Disney! 😆
Hi Richard, Ah that’s a great tip to check out if you get lounge access with your bank. We love doing an airport lounge but we’re trying to keep the cost down.
