Thank you so much! We had a wonderful time in Saudi Arabia, and made many videos of our amazing experiences there: ru-vid.com/group/PLCmNbKU5iMrlRdlxyLurNYxyeJ2SGIcU5&si=llBXSlM1gnsmN56O Keep watching as there'll be at least 4 Bahrain videos coming soon 😁🙏
Can't wait for your video of our beautiful Bahrain! The funny thing is, I thought that your videos are filmed and uploaded in same time but then I found out that they were months ago 😂. Even a day after your Khobar video, I thought that you are in Bahrain and I was looking around hoping to bump into you 😂😂. Next time hopefully 😍. I hope so you enjoyed your time in Bahrain ❤
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Yes, our videos tend to come out months after visiting a country as we shoot so much footage! For example, we spent 5 days in Bahrain, but there'll be at least 5 videos showing our adventures there 😀😁 We hope you enjoy our Bahrain series!
Oh, that's so lovely to hear! I'm sorry that you were inconvenienced, but it's wonderful to hear that you were looking forward to watching this video, thank you 😊🙏
Hello Mike! We were so blessed with our amazing hosts throughout our time in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, and with the wonderful people we met! The hospitality was incredible. Thank you so much for your lovely comment - it's always great to hear from you 😊 🙏
If you wait until November the weather will be amazing in gulf countries like saudi and Bahrain and UAE now it's hot don't stay under the sun alot have a nice trip
Oh, that's so lovely, thank you! This was the shortest video I've made in ages! The next 3 or 4 videos from Bahrain will all be longer, and we hope you enjoy them 🤗😀🙏
We're so pleased you enjoyed this video. We had an excellent time in Saudi Arabia, which is why we made so many videos 😀😁 SAUDI ARABIA playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLCmNbKU5iMrlRdlxyLurNYxyeJ2SGIcU5&si=1ZLunRL8VA_gj646
Marhaba Mandy & Lee, Bahrain seems pretty expensive so it's gonna be interesting to see it from the Frugal Travelers' perspective. Hitchhiking is a good way to meet people and free! That said there's always a risk of nobody stopping .. Hoping you're keeping well wherever you are, have a lovely Weekend
Marhaba from Australia, SERGIO 😀😁 As always, it is so lovely to hear from you! There'll be at least 4 Bahrain videos, and we hope they help people plan a visit on a budget as there are definitely some great inexpensive options. We hope this finds you well, and that you also have a lovely weekend 😊😀
I was there with my family from 1980-1990 when the King Fahd Causeway was being built then. Unfortunately, there was no time for us to check it out coz my father was the only one who knows how to drive at that time and my siblings & I were young then. Pretty much we just enjoyed every day of our stay in Bahrain. You should try watching the Camel racing and going to the Souq. These were one of our pastimes over there aside from the Raft races and Bowling tournaments. Also, during those years of our stay, other companies like McDonalds & Coca-Cola were not yet introduced in Bahrain, and it was mostly Canada Dry sodas , Hardee's and Dairy Queen at that time. Enjoy your stay there!
Thank you for the great suggestion! We were in Saudi Arabia in January, and were planning to return in July but unfortunately our plans changed. We will visit Abha and Jizan another time.
I would love to go hitchhiking with a friend. Speaking to young friends, they have loved this experience in Turkey and Albania. I was wondering how you feel in these Gulf countries? It must be really easy to be led into a (social) situation where your careful budgeting is blown out of the water?? I am hearing your favouring Indian food and I agree it's delicious and usually good value. Really great video. I did a transit in Bahrain once, the incoming flight map information let me know it was in fact an Island. Very embarrassing!
Hi Julie. Not sure how I missed this one. 🤔. The hitching wasn't that easy there really. We had to wait a while and in some situations the language barrier made it difficult. Everyone is super friendly and helpful but I just don't think it's a common way to get around. Mostly it's ad lib taxis who think you want a paid ride. Regarding the budgeting, we always make it clear it's not in our budget to go to high end places. Thankfully the Indian food places there are reasonable and plentiful. All in all a great experience but it was couchsurfing that made it so special for us. Such a great way to make new friends. 🙏
that will be great if videos were at least 20 minutes long I know it's "quality over quantity" but it would be nice,,,greetings to you Frugal Travellers May Allah bless you (even if you are not religious it is okay and respect from me)
That's so wonderful to hear, as most of our videos are over 20 minutes long so we decided to make a couple of shorter ones! Have you seen our Saudi Arabia vlogs? It would be great to hear your feedback 😃🤗 SAUDI ARABIA: ru-vid.com/group/PLCmNbKU5iMrlRdlxyLurNYxyeJ2SGIcU5&si=M0Us65aT14jwsvYd
over a decade and you want to be treated like a guest? if they were non-white tourists they would still get the same treatment. Lostshmi (Lakhsmi) on RU-vid has always received hospitality from Saudis@@adamuce
