Probably the hardest part of becoming parents is figuring out a name that doesn't conflict with any names in your families and that you both like and isn't crazy that the kid could get bullied over.

If I ever have kids I’ll probably spend a lot of time making sure their potential name isn’t easily teased, isn’t a serial killer’s name, and isn’t shared by someone I dislike. And I’d want to name them after fictional characters if possible😂

Santiago is toooo common now, there was a rise in it's popularity. I like it but the nickname is associated with preppy/posh kids in Mexico.

Keep the baby content coming! I am 24 weeks and we finally decided on to name our baby girl Isla because on our first international trip together we went to the UK and visited the Scottish Isle of Islay and loved it! We can’t wait to take her there some day!

Great names, I love it when people figure classy and meaningful place names. My niece has a travel name, Riga. At age 13 she got to visit the city -her city ;-) - in Lativia. Her dad has Lativian heritage and both parents had traveled there before she was born.

The bump! 😍 I've actually been keeping a list of my favorite baby names since I was 16 haha! For a boy, my top are Rowan, Sebastian, and Westley. There are definitely some wild ones on my list...my friends had to beg me to remove "Mercutio" 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm from northern England and one of my favourite places to go for walks is Hope Valley, it's fairly local to me and I know it so well, I always thought Hope is a nice girl's name and named after one of my favourite places :-D

I personally like the name Venice for a girl as it sounds classy and it has good ring to it. For boys names like Albert, Joshua, Francisco or Francis are really good too.

We picked Sylvester for our boy due in November, it basically means “from the forest” and has Latin associations with “wild”. I’m a zoologist, and that fit me perfectly + coincidentally we were on the lookout for an S name.

I actually have a cousin named Savannah which is really cool! I really like Jasper as a name. I would love to visit Jasper National Park one day as I know it is really beautiful! Georgia would be a cool idea for a girl's name because she would be named after either the US state of Georgia or the Republic of Georgia in the Caucasus near Armenia and Azerbaijan. You can't go wrong with being named after 2 places in the world! This video was a lot of fun!

Hudson & Madison are my kids name. We'd travel to Jersey & New York a few times a year as well as every thanksgiving when my husband & I lived on the east coast of the US. We are back in Hawaii now, but I still have such fond memories of those days.

I like the name Caspian. Like after the Caspian Sea. ;) Also a fantastic character of the Narnia books. I’m currently pregnant with my husband and My’s second baby. We are hoping for a girl and are planning on naming her Leila Rey. ;) Naming our babies is definitely one of our favorite gifts to give our children. 💛

Boy name are sooo much harder than girld names eh!! Nellie is 38 weeks pregnant right now and we're also having a little boy. Finding the right name has been crazy tough. This video was a cool insight into a lot of the research we've also done. So many of them are named after cities. Cairo is also a great option for a boy.

My mom considered naming me Victoria because it’s where I was born 😅 Another thing to consider is what potential nicknames could be created. While Victoria is great, Vickie/Vicky rhymes with icky and kids can be mean sometimes 🙃 And yes, BC Ferries is the worst 😂

I’m not having kids any time soon, but I feel like most women I have a list of baby names. One travel inspired name that I like for a boy is Naut. It means sailor or traveler. I don’t even know if it is a name, but I want to name a little boy Naut.

Oh oh. Can't hide it anymore. Some good names. Three of them are dog names within our family. Jasper just died. RIP. He only had one eye. Hated men, but liked me. We also have a Sydney and a Savannah in the family. I like both names for girls. I kind of like Everest. Can't be more grand. Maybe a bit too grand. I like Alec. Too close your bother's name though. Sorry, got nothing for you. Not good at names. Have you been to Charleston SC? If you go back to Savannah, you might want to check it out. Its not too far way. It's my number one choice to end up in. Perfect place for my interests.

i find it terrible using states, countries, cities, rivers, seasons, numbers, fruit etc. as names for a child. damn, people should think about the child growing up with a stupid name. There is nothing wrong with a normal, traditional name.
