Travel Mongolia Day 9: Ulaanbaatar International Food Festival!
I traveled to Mongolia for a little over two weeks to experience the culture so I could
better teach it to my students. On day 9 of my travels, I roamed around Ulaanbaatar looking
for food and ran into an international food festival located in Suhkbaatar Square. The festival
was lively, but my food choice left me wanting more, so I left in search of authentic Mongolian
food at one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Join me, as we take a look at what Ulaanbaatar has to offer on its menu!

I am glad you enjoyed the food the favourite place where you enjoyed it I have been there couple of times. ❤ Yes normally as a local I always only went to premium places where I know the amenities are stocked with TP 🧻. 😅 Good disclaimer. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that restaurant, omg! The food there NEVER disappoints me, and the restaurant is clean!! After one incident without toilet paper there, I made sure to never let that happen again hahahah. Still more exploring to do!!:):)

I would recommend you, you should go to Khyrgas Nuur in Uvs next time. It’s amazing place I ever visited. But it’s not near by Ulaanbaatar but you should go in the future

Hahahah, very funny, B! Lol. I think Mongolians usually bring toilet paper with them when they are out. The owner of my guest house always had it on him...I thought it was strange, but then I remembered a similar occurrence when I traveled to Beijing. I won't go into anymore details hahaha. That market is not permanent btw its open only cause the new school year is starting and they sell some school supplies. And the bun on the side u had was a piroshki which I miss a LOT and I never find as good as piroshki like that anywhere in Western Europe

It was rather warm, but a little chilly. Also, I was washing clothes, so I didn't have anything else to wear but my beanie and jacket hahahah
