Glad you got the EGR valve sorted, while its new I would suggest blocking and remapping it out if you need to, your van will be happier for it. As for the lights, I have heard of people pulling out bulbs for MOT's haha

Hey great you have van fixed. Great to see you guys back. May ask for your hwlp..as i need to fit egr solonoid on my 2012 ambulance project..but dont know where 2 pipe that plug into it go. Could you pm me any ideas etc..super appreciate it

I’d just like to add if you don’t mind , make sure the timing belts not due for replacement, if it breaks then it’s major grief, sometimes it’s better to be safe than sorry, just thought I’d mention it.❤

I don’t want to state the obvious but do you have an OBD2 port reader and tried clearing the fault codes after the fixes?

Hey guys.... You've had a rough time of it with the van. Egr systems are best deleted. Unless you're doing lots of motorway miles they will cause problems. They oil up the intake and cause mega problems. If I were you I would look into fitting an Egr blanking kit for your particular engine. £30 £40 compared to a nightmare of disasters. They basically block the recirculation of manky dirty gases from going back into the intake and are simply burnt through the exhaust. Yes, it's not as eco friendly but you can counter that argument with the extra manufacturer of Egr, and various other parts which you need. Your engine will have more power, better mpg without it so swings and roundabouts. Try having the engine management light deleted. You may have fixed it but the ecu needs to be told that it's fixed. Get all your fault codes deleted and run it. You may find you don't have that fault any longer. Good luck with the rest of the van. They're all doable jobs. Think yourself lucky you haven't had to do any welding.... 😂😂😂 Hope to see you up there at some point this year. Really nice to see you and know that you're still committed

Good to see you guys back again. I don't usually comment but I spotted that your tyres are the ones I'm considering for my own van. Would your recommend in general? Have you noticed them helpful on rough or muddy surfaces?

this is why im travelling in a Vintage Campervan. Slow and cumbersome but easier to repair and parts are often cheaper too.
