Not really. When people talk about Bali they only talk about Bali, not Indonesia. That is because Bali is different from the Rest of Indonesia. It is a stand alone Destination. Funny thing is a lot of people in Europe or the US wouldn´t even know what country Bali is a part of.

Bali got famous bcoz their arts are divine, of course it's different from the rest of indonesia, and so does sumba, mentawais, nias, batak, toraja, papua and 200+ other ethnics w/ their own language and customs thats why our motto are unity in diversity,,if you visit lake toba w/ batak culture and hop to nias a mere hour fly,,you'll see a totally different culture,,trust me, you only see a very tiny yet shiny portion of indonesia,,

Even just comparing small islands like Bali to the Philippines, but Bali still so much MORE DEVELOPED in term of infrastructure and tourism than the Philippines and of course the tourism level of the Philippines is nothing compare to Bali. Bali is visited by 9 million international tourist by Mastercard Tourism Ranking and the whole Philippines just 7 million. So we know, a single island like Bali is already much more developed than the Philippines.

it actually depends on the airline company. I see the lowest price would be 350 pesos for 15kg excess baggage in cebupacific. I recommend you add it online ahead of time so you won't have hard time and long queues when you're in the airport

yeah I always try to arrange this in advance but with some flights, there is no option with exta luggage of 15kg or 20 kg, that's a little ennoying. Thank you for your respons!

for philippine airlines and cebu pacific, they charge around US $4 / kilo of excess baggage. for air asia, much more expensive at around $7 / kilo .

usually sunny but sometimes it will rain... but not like June to September or October totally rainy season... and i'd like to recommend to you to visit our Province in Pangasinan and try going to Hundred Islands you can do island hopping there and see the giant clams, flyingfox bat, cliff jumping in the cave and lot more... your drone shots will be so cool out there... you definitely gonna enjoy it...

Once "Ber" months approach, September to begin with, it's Christmas already and usually extended up to early January, which is the coldest month--of course no snow, so you can still play around outside--in the country and there are drizzles sometimes. That sounds crazy, but the feeling is wonderful. It's already July. You only have less than two months. Come back soon!

Bali ins't rest of Indonesia and just a single island or single tourist attraction in Indonesia and outside the island (Bali), Indonesia have more diverse culutre, nature and a lot of things as the largest Island country in the world as well. In fact out of 17500 islands in Indonesia, there are 3000 islands is uname, so I think Indonesia is more like a bigger hidden paradise.

When you comeback to the Philippines go to Boracay and compare it to Bali. I would suggest go to Amanpulo in Palawan and be mesmerized by its charm but I havent seen small time vloggers or backpackers (I don't mean that you're small time) feature Amanpulo because it's for the rich and famous people. Many Hollywood stars has been there. I have read in the magazine that the hotel room rate is 30 to 35 thousand usdollars per person per night.

yes it amanpulo is a must-go paradise...another thing dany, something just popped up in my mind..it should not be bali versus the phils..bali is just a portion of indonesia. bali should have been compared to any of the philippines' travel destinations like boracay, palawan, cebu etc...comparing bali and phils would only create an impression that the whole phils lacks features you are trying to showcase ....when in fact, there those you mentioned bali has and the phils does not have, which i disagree. Like for instance, you mentioned that bali has affordable town villas... in the phils there are..in bohol for example there is something like that..you have been to bohol but i know ur time was very limited thats why you were not able to go there..to sum it up, it would be fair to compare once you have been to a lot lot places here in our country. always remember, 7,100 plus islands.....theres still a lot to explore...

I think Dany should visit Flores - Komodo National Park, Lombok, Raja Ampat, Derawan - Maratua, Kei Island - Banda Neira, Karimun Jawa, Ora Beach, Labengki - Sombori, Bunaken, Takabonerate, Wakatobi, Morotai and then he can compare beaches in Indonesia with Philippines.
