Bohol has whale shark swimming too. But it's not guaranteed like the one in Cebu, because they try not to attract the whale sharks with food too much. Hence, the non-guaranteed whale shark appearance. But once you paid, you might have to go back several days until they come around. It's very random, but more humane. Bohol also has the tarsier primate nature reserves, Danao Adventure Park(ziplining and other thrilling adventure), ATV riding, Chocolate Hills, tons of white sand beaches and waterfalls, etc.

Not bad. But, sadly, foreign tourists are highly missing out on mountains, volcanoes, rice terraces, than just beaches.

I been traveling to Philippines for 20 years and never had a problem. The people are so friendly and yes those $10 to $20 massages are a must.
