Found this out a few years ago when we were cancelled in Dallas. The in person customer service representative was NOT helpful but calling the airline made all the difference in the world
Good Looorrrddddd! When traveling for business, you almost need to charge a premium just to get to the location. That's WORK! Safe travels always to you, Gerry.

We got the pre approved TSA ticket thing. I’m really not understanding why this good??? Can you help? We are headed to Las Vegas tomorrow. We may died from the heat. It’s supposed to be 116 degrees when we get there. Thank you for your help. You’re a blessing.
Some airlines are pulling the weather card even when it isn't weather related. Was on my way to Houston, layover in Dallas. They claimed weather and canceled the flight when, in reality, it was a strike by the airline workers. Other airlines continued to fly in and out, but my airline not so much. Spent the night in the airport because 10 flights all canceled at the same time, no hotel rooms or rental cars to be had. Saw on the news the next morning an agreement between the airline and the union had been reached overnight. The airline companies are liars.
