Choose a Golf Bag
Most airlines accept golf bags as long as you don’t exceed your free baggage allowance with the weight

If you choose a board bag it should only be slightly bigger than your board and also not weighing too much by itself so you save some weight for your own things
Also it should have some wheels so it’s easier to carry around
and it should be padded to protect your equipment
Unscrew your boots from your board
This way you can save some space and protect your boots placing it sideways on top of your board
Place some towels under / around nose and tail of your board
If you are taking multiple boards with you, place something in between your boards or use a board case
Then place your other equipment on top of your boards and around your boots like vest, normal clothes etc.
Don’t fold your wetsuits but roll them inside out to protect them
Maybe bring some useful equipment like hangers and travel adapter
I always take my helmet as carry on and protect them with a case
Always have a foldable bag with you so you can put something out (for example your boots) and take it as carry on so you don’t have to pay overweight/ excess baggage
I‘m always traveling with my Yoga mat and also some gym bands so I can do my strength and mobility exercises during my travels
I also take my nutrition supplements with me, small sample packages are really handy for traveling
If you do so, zipper bags are useful to avoid that something gets out of the packaging and onto your equipment or clothes
I‘m also taking my camera equipment with me
Latest Gopro Hero 12 which I got from Camforpro shop and some mounts, floaty and tripod
