I know that many of you have asked why they can't find the Underseat Pro. I reached out to the company and this is what they said: There have been manufacturing delays due to the release of new versions of both the under-seat rolling foldable suitcase and the Classic Travel Backpack. I’ve included the most requested features from our customers, and the design and testing process has caused a delay in restocking. I would love for them to know that we’re prioritizing their requests by including the most requested features in the new design. It’s my commitment to perfectionism and our customers that’s driving this delay. Thank you for your patience. So be on the look out for their bags soon, I guess. Hope this helps!
@@YolkedTech Hi In fact just today! They are expecting inventory in the next 4 weeks. I will be putting out a video and a post as soon as I get the exact date. They have even updated it! I am very excited!
I always wear a jacket with lots of pockets when travelling. All the items you put in the crossbody bag go into the pockets. If you have a big enough pocket, you could put the bag into it. I take what I need out of the pockets before I take my seat on the plane. The jacket goes into the overhead bin.
Hi @eddiemaxwell6949. Thanks for the advice. It's a great idea for the colder weather. The problem is what do you do if it's summer? I guess they can't force you to take off a jacket, right? And what do we do with those neck rolls and blankets, because apparently, they count, too. Kind of sad that we have to play these kinds of games over a save on a ticket. Happy Travels!
I am that person😃looking for a personal item bag to go on top of my carry on bag (needs a good trolly sleeve). Like your friend, the airlines I fly don't let you keep the crossbody bag out - just one personal item, so they make you stow the waist/crossbody bag. So my personal bag needs to have easy access to stow cross body and also other functional outside pockets/easy access to meds- a whole small pouch-, tech, snacks for the flight. Trying to find something better designed/larger than a regular weekend shoulder bag for some extra clothes, etc. with same easy access *but* not too heavy/wheels for when I do have to lug it around. Wow this is hard and thanks for being the one doing all the work!
Them counting that lil fanny as luggage is the most ridiculous nickel and diming I’ve ever seen!!! Goodness gracious! This was very helpful hopefully they restock soon because I’m SOLD!
Hi @kenyak2959 I have to say, that is one of the best little bags I've seen, other than the "Take Off" bag. I have been in contact with the manufacturer and they said they should be in stock soon with nice new updates.
@@PerriesPassport As a woman, I don't have a back pocket to carry a wallet, I depend on a small crossbody for that. It would be nice if airline would consider that.
Hi @@vintagegirl68 I totally agree with you about the airlines. I try to pack my crossbody in my personal item and then switch it out when I am on the plane.
You actually could have gotten your liquids and even readers and phone, etc. in there. It looked like you still have a small space at the bottom where you had rolled up your shirts. The toiletry bag most likely would have stuffed there. You could have smooshed one of your packing cubes down a tad and squeezed your liquids bag on top of that, thus having it at the top of the bag where the zipper was, easy enough to unzip a tad and grab it out. Your readers would have stuffed anywhere or in a jacket pocket or on a chain around your neck (which is where mine live most times) and the case would have been easy to cram anywhere in the bag. Your phone and powerbank in the water bottle holder. That crossbody would have been easy to just lay on top of the clothes or go into one of the pockets on top. Might have been a little harder to zip but doable.
Hi @lovestodive1879! Wow, you're a super packer! My main concern was not over-stuffing the bag to the point of it not getting into the sizers at the airport, and also quick access to the liguids but your plan does sound solid. This is why I love viewer feedback. Thank you so much and happy travels! ✈✈
Yeah, sometimes you have to pack and repack a couple of times before you get everything just right. Another suggestion would be to place your undies and PJs into a few smaller compression packing cubes and experiment with laying them flat and stacking them on edge.
Hi @@durhamskywriter Agreed! Before I shot the video, I had a couple of test packs. The problem with my husband's pack is those very bulky shirts that he wears. I'm a packing cube devote, and they just didn't work in this case. I had to be real, given the person I was dealing with, LOL! Thanks so much for your ideas!
Hi @paulsmith294 I do! They are just different choices. The Take Off is hard shell, and I suggest getting it with its packing cubes, since it maximizes the use of the bag, The Underseat Pro has some give and more pockets and if you have a space issue, becomes flat which is great for storage. The new Underseat Pro is coming out in the next couple of weeks and I will be reviewing it. Check out my video on the Take off bag here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4Uuh8TwouhM.html
Hi @danitachantel1111 I am not sure what happened with this company, because I can't find them anywhere. I will try to reach out to them and find out what happened to them.

@@PerriesPassportThank you! You deserve a raise! Let Underseat Pro know, that we're "WILD PASS" ready and would like a discount code for patiently waiting. 😁
Hello Perrie! Thank you very much for such a detailed review of our foldable rolling suitcase. As a small business, we really appreciate your support. Greetings from Ohio!
Hi@@julesh9993 you can buy it direct from them here: underseat.pro/17-5-foldable-laptop-carry-on-briefcase-on-wheels-under-the-seat-personal-item-suitcase-compliant-with-spirit-frontier-american-delta-allegiant-and-more-18x14x8-inches-45x36x20-cm/. I hope that helps.
Hi @cathylingo9521, You are right! Ugh. I am usually so careful about getting everything into the video. I know I checked it out, but it might have gotten accidentally cut. Thank you so much for pointing that out.
Hi @eartharegina2418. Thank you so much for the positive feedback! The Bagsmart bag can be used as a bag for discount airlines without paying additional bag fees. It can also be used as an additional (personal) bag, but I would always check with the airlines if the dimensions fit for a personal bag, but it does fit most. My hubby has used it both ways without any trouble. I hope that helps!
Bring a bulky sweatshirt with you for your flight. Get your boarding pass at an unmanned kiosk, so the airline employee doesn't see your crossbody. After you get through TSA, throw your sweatshirt over your crossbody bag and turn the crossbody to the middle of your back or under your arm. At boarding, the airline boarding agents are too busy getting the passengers on the plane to spend any time checking you for a crossbody bulge. And once the plane takes off, it's too late to do anything about it. I just flew across country round trip. I had no trouble about my hidden crossbody Valcen sling. The only packing problem I saw is that TSA would still require the computer be taken out, to go through x-ray in its own bin.
Hi @chris...9497! That is really great advice! Do you still use the sweatshirt method in the summer or do you have another trick? Thanks for sharing with us! 👍👍
If you wear a tank top as foundation, a light loose sweatshirt worn over that will not be uncomfortable. Besides, temperatures in the plane can be chilly or hot with no respect to outside temps or temps inside the airport. Once you're in the air, you can pull off the sweatshirt as needed. @@PerriesPassport
I can confirm that American Airlines is also enforcing the crossbody or fanny pack counts as your personal item rule. Ive seen lots of chatter of airlines cracking down on this and then witnessed this myself. They were also making every person show in the sizer their item fit before boarding the plane.
Hi @robinjohnson9487! Thank you for confirming that. I have seen the same thing myself, but it was my girlfriend who first reported this, months ago and I have to say, I had a hard time believing this.
Hi @Three721! If you are looking for one that fits Ryanair, Cabinmax makes a good one cabinmax.com/collections/backpacks-2/products/manhattan-stowaway-xl-20l-40x25x20cm-ryanair-free-under-seat-backpack-shoulder-bag?variant=34928626532518 that you can get on Amazon. Sadly, they don't sell directly to the US.
Hello @Three721 Thank you for your purchase. Which size of bags would you like to see in the future? We are currently working on expanding our catalog and would love to hear your feedback. Thanks
I own that very same suitcase. Over the years, I’ve had multiple bags, all of them from popular brands. This is by far the best bag I’ve ever owned. I was hesitant to buy it since I’d never heard of UNDERSEAT PRO. However, I decided to take the plunge after watching Lauren Kelly’s video review. I was sold by its features and the fact that it’s a small business from Ohio (I’m a Buckeyes fan!). I’m curious, Perrie, why do you say you wouldn’t place your laptop in the dedicated padded pocket? My work laptop computer is 17.3” and it fits perfectly inside the pocket. By the way, you forgot to mention the outside lateral hidden pocket, and the compression straps are also removable, a nice and novel feature I haven’t seen anywhere else. I enjoyed your review, you’ve just earned a new subscriber 😊
HI, @anthonylarsen7965. Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply. I think that the UNDERSEAT PRO, is a great bag. As for the front pocket, I don't know if they changed the model or not, but my front pocket was not that padded, and my computer is new, so I didn't want to take a chance. I'm going to hae to go back and look at my bag and see if it has that pocket (are you talking about the inside pocket?) and if the straps come off. This is what I enjoy about the comments. I learn from my viewers. Thank you!! :)
@@PerriesPassport you’re welcome ☺️. I’m referring to the dedicated laptop pocket on the inner side of the lid. The previous version had a zippered pocket on the outside, the bag you reviewed is their current version (I own both so I know what I’m talking about. 👍🏼)
@anthonylarsen7965 Hi! Since youve used the older model and this new one, what do you like about the new one vs old? I need to make a decision. Thanks!
Hi @user-cv4em3tc2n Now that is strange... I'm not sure where to get them now. I bought mine on Amazon and I checked and I can't find it and you can't buy it on the website either. I'll try to look into it.
