Have been to Thailand & other countries in the SE Asia, as well, during the last 25 years. Had been to Singapore & Malaysia, last month. Always been scammed everywhere, everytime, excepting Singapore. Once, a huge amount of cash was stolen from my hotel room, at Khaosan Road, Bangkok, over 22 years ago. Therefore, I do understand that, tips from a helpful locale, is a God's gift, no doubt. In fact my last visit to Thailand, almost 4 years ago, would have been cheaper & smoother, had I these tips & advice, as mentioned in this blog, then. Therefore, thank you wholeheartedly for this noble endeavour.

I live in Thailand. The only ones I think are critical are LINE and Bolt. Nothing else matters.

Many people also want to know which areas to stay for longer term such as retirees. And rental rates. Also how to apply for visa and longer term stay. Maybe you could get some commission for rental😅
