After watching your video about your trip to The Ark Encounter I bought the Christian Heroes: Hudson Taylor book to read before our travels. We are reading the last chapter of the book today and have all loved learning about Hudson Taylor each day during our morning basket! I can't wait to visit The Ark and have the exhibit bring it all back full circle to reinforce what we have read about him.

So exciting!!! We're really want to go the ark and creation museum. We'll have to do it in the spring time when my husband is slower at work. Then we'll rent a large rv to stay in instead of getting a hotel.

My husband and I went here when we lived in Cincinnati in 2018. We absolutely loved it and want to take our kids one day.

We went last August 2020 and it was our first field trip of the school year! We loved it but our kids were really not interested as they were little (5, 3, and 2 Months) and very tired from a 13 hour drove the day before. We would love to go back when they are older. Anyway it was soooo amazing!!

I'm needing a good laugh, I'm sure this monumental folly would provide it.

ASHLEE!!! My husband grew up across the street from Henry Clay's estate! My husband and I had an outdoor wedding there in the back part 26 years ago! In April the whole back part is covered with little white flowers! So beautiful. We also had a white horse and carriage!

It would be amazing if you could get a printable up that lists the restaurants and hotels with names and addresses for others to use when they make this specific trip! I’d totally purchase that :) Just a thought! We have never made it that far, but I’d love to do a trip and have that resource to use. We have the same sized family so it would be very helpful! Lol

We have not gone to the Ark/Creation museum but we have used Answers resources since I heard Ken Ham at a homeschool convention years ago. Do you feel that the way science is presented in TGAB curriculum aligns with the young earth 7 literal day creation?

Visiting a shrine to anti-science, I see. I wish homeschooling was more regulated so that we could ensure parents aren't taking advantage of their children to push a political and religious agenda. Teaching creation is educational neglect.

Very helpful video! I have 2 questions, (1) what kind of video camera did you use? (2) what area of the country are you from?

Went to the ark a couple years ago. Found a few places where it contradicts itself. One was on the shuttle from the parking lot to the ark. The guy says the earth is like 6,000 years old. But then a few seconds later says that the trees used to make the ark exhibit is like few hundred thousand years old.....

We love love love the Creation Museum! We plan to see the Ark very soon and do the Creation Museum again with our younger crew and see the new unborn display! Thanks so much for sharing!!! This place is sooo special! My older kids will be interning hopefully over the next two summers for the Ark animals.

We used to travel a lot before kids and my youngest was just starting to become easier to travel with/stay overnight when this all ramped up. I want to take my kids places like Disney and others but not if we have to be masked the whole time! That is really the only thing that bugs me about all this COVID stuff is feeling stuck. We're in Maine and it's very restrictive here. Going to hibernate for the winter and go from there I guess. Thanks for sharing this trip though, gives me hope that there might be some places left where we could have a normal family trip :)

It houses a museum, a cafe and the chapel. Susannah Wesley homeschooled her children😊. Come visit if you come to England.

I love this so much. Thanks for sharing with us. I'm so sick of the state of things lately and this gives me hope that 2021 will be the beginning of better times. It's so refreshing seeing people living normally. I'm in Georgia and, although there is no state mandate on masks, it's very difficult living among people who base their lives on fear and trusting the government. I am a geologist by trade and I agree...science proves God. I can give so many examples of geologic events that prove His existence. If you ever want to make a trip to Georgia, my girls and I would love to host your family so you're not stuck in a hotel room. We are part of a phenomenal local homeschool group that meets twice a week for fun outdoor activities. There is so much to do here away from Atlanta that is both fun and educational. We have the Little Grand Canyon, Helen Georgia and it's little Bavarian style village, Chattanooga Tn, and so many other fun outdoor things within a couple of hours any direction.
