Travel| Weekend trip to Bowen Island. Fun with ferries and falls. 

My husband and I planned a couple's getaway to Bowen Island months ago. Unfortunately, our parents were too sick to look after the kids. But fortunately, we had the most amazing time as a family! We did it all without a car. We packed light. Everyone fit their clothes and things in our own backpacks. We took the bus from downtown Vancouver to Horseshoe Bay. A quick ferry ride to Snug Cove. We hiked some trails in and around Snug Cove and ended our night at a pub. Our youngest also hiked down the mountain - we're so proud! we felt energized being in the forests and surrounded by water.
