On this adventure we spend some beautiful days visiting waterfalls around the Finger Lakes including Ithaca and Watkins Glen. The Finger Lakes was one of our favorite parts of the trip and it felt like there was beauty everywhere we looked. Definitely an adventure to remember and we will be back one day to see it again for sure!

It was fun to see a couple different van-lifers travel through upstate New York this year. We live a little farther north towards Lake Ontario, but we took the drive down to Fillmore Glen this past summer at the end of Owasco Lake. It was absolutely beautiful. Maybe we'll catch you guys on another trip one day - we hope to hit the road next year :)

OMG just pull the burdock's off LMAO! You touched that nasty dead thing and could not pull off burdock's. To funny. If you ever come back to that part of the finger lakes hook up with me and my wife and we will show you places that visitors very rarely see. All those places are pretty much my back yard.

Wow,..that is a beautiful spot y'all found. So many people talk about going out west when they plan a trip in a van or other vehicle, but the eastern states are so very much more beautiful I think. The eastern states are like a green lush paradise compared to the desert western states, and all up and down the eastern states and over to the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas. But out west it's not attractive at all to me, unless you go up to Oregon. The rest of it is a dry desert, past the Rockies especially.

I base that on the videos by Bob Wells and the van dwellers that he interviews, and some others out that way. They seem to be sitting in a dry desert. :-))
