Saw this pop up in my recommendation & watched it. My family moved here back in 2004 (I was 5-6 years old at the time. I'm currently 26; turning 27 next month on 9/25). I currently live around 8 minutes away from Main Street/2 minutes away from Tigerville University.
Hope you have a great birthday. How do you like living there? I’m in the Charlotte area. Would love to visit with my 18 year old son next week. Hoping to buy near Greenville soon.
@@irenefranz4175 I'm a bit behind on replying; it's great. Most of the businesses here are run by the town/community. There's also a new apartment complex that used to be the site of an old production plant years ago (Pinestone at Travelers Rest).
It's a small community just north of TR of course. If you're interested in a small town and prefer to be roughly 15-20 minutes from everything, it is certainly a place to check out!
Does this town have a hospital? All that I could find was a clinic type place that had a few family doctors working out of it and to be frank it has awful reviews.
No, not really. Just an Emergency Facility. I was born here and hate what it's become. It's nothing but a tourist town now. Locals hate it here now. Overcrowded schools, traffic is becoming terrible. If you get tired of biking or walking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, or overpriced restaurants, there's not much. If you consider yourself Blue Collar, there's basically nothing at all. In fact, my family wants to leave. We're not feelin' it.
