Hi! Video is a little later than normal today. I'm doing my best to keep up with videos when not at home. It's always a challenge but definitely worth it. =) We hope you all had a great Christmas! Thanks, as always, for watching!!!
Just enjoy yourself. We enjoy it all. Can't wait to see your Dad's grocery haul! Such a great family! Count your blessings everyday. You never know...smh you just never know. THANK YOU! XOXO
Hello, oh how fun 😊 I love road trips and your right it seems like you always see something new that you haven't seen before! Enjoy yourselves, have a great time and stay safe! Many hugs and blessings 🙏🤗🙏
Sarah, I totally missed you vloging the start of your trip where Solo usually says a pray out loud praying for a safe trip. That bit always makes me feel content 🥰 My Mum & Dad (both passed now) use to do the same thing, even for short trips. It sets an amazing calm & warmth inside me. Have a wonderful holiday 😘
Seth is such a happy baby. Everyone knows kids & babies all have different personalities & souls. He is such a sweetheart at such a young age. ❤️. Then again all of you kiddos young & older are so kind & caring & loving. That has to do with their upbringing & their parents. So hats off to you Mom & Dad. Wish the world would raise their children the way you are raising your children. ❤️❤️❤️. Love, faith, respect, family.
My cousins family always stopped at Home Depot on family road trips. She said the kids never want anything, lots of space to walk around, and clean bathrooms. Love your Vlogs!
It is always a joy to see your family. I have very mixed feelings abt your travels. It is wonderful that Solo and you all can get to spend Christmas at your parents. With traveling in a pandemic, every family makes their own choice and I respect that. We choose not to out of respect for those who lost a loved one and for health care workers who are sacrificing so much to be there for their patients. Stay safe and God bless.
I enjoyed your video, thanks for sharing every city you passed through, I personally have not been on a road trip for about 12 years, your video made me feel I was on a road trip as well. Praise God for your safe traveling.
We drove 20 hours straight through with one child when she was 4 and people thought we were crazy! Lol 😂 I always think it wasn’t that bad. Especially at night while she slept!
We such to go to Florida every other year for Christmas to see my parents . It was a change with 3kids. It took us 24 hours from our house to there's and we always drove it straight through. God bless you and have a safe and fun trip.
Enjoyed watching the kids going in & hugging the grandparents. That’s something special. Luca will never forget those days of spending time with his grandparents. That’s something not to take for granted. Love your videos. God bless
Every time someone passes thru Nashville I tell them my son is 25 minutes from there in College, because I'm literally so proud of him being in college and me being a single mom of 4 am so happy I could send him! Lol
Thanks for driving instead of flying, but I’m sure you only drove cuz it’s cheaper. Don’t get covid. My long time coworker just died from it two days before Christmas. Oh, and happy new year.
Seeing this I don't know what day but please say prayers for the happenings in Nashville. Love my Tennessee, from Shelbyville. God Bless you all and many prayers for our world.
We used to go to S. Carolina to see my SIL. Then after a day or two with her, we would go down to Florida for bike week every year. I hated driving/riding through the Tennessee mountains. It used to be so dangerous! There are huge pea gravel places for big trucks to run into in case their breaks got too got. Since they moved the highway it's great!!
Oh my!!! We know exactly how you feel!! We live in Texas and all of our family lives in Ohio!! We have some that live in the Orlando area but that Ohio trip with kids could be rough! We used to check out audio books from the library and play that in the vehicle for the kids. Their favorite was the Boxcar Children series and the Magic Tree House series. God bless and keep you all!!
I love road trips. I used to ride the greyhound from Chicago to North Carolina or to Pennsylvania. It was so awesome to go through the different states.
You are so blessed to have both of your parents and for your children to grow up with parents. both of my are parents are gone now. all of my children are grown. but I do have my grandchildren so let's start all over again God bless.
I live in New Zealand and we can drive from The East Coast to the West Coast in under 3 hours. Just goes to show the difference in size between our countries. Love watching your vlogs
Thankyou for showing and explaining all the cities you drove through! I’m in Australia and it’s so interesting to see all these places I’ve never been to. Happy holidays!💕
6:15 All the kids runnin' around, gettin' their wiggles out!❤️ I love road trips, especially traveling at night. Watching ya'll remind me of when all my girls were little and we would travel to Georgia from South Louisiana. IKR! Through Atlanta, Georgia, during the day, traffic, OMGoodness! The Interstate through is like six lanes wide, each side! Crazy!🤪😜🚐🚙🚚🚛🚐🚙🚚🚛 Oh yeah, Judah can help with the driving now! That's cool!🙂 Thanks for sharing your family with us!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the city footage, I enjoy driving across the US. Seeing this was beautiful. Family road trip are the best, you will enjoy the FL winter weather compared to NE.
We have done the Seattle to Chicago trip many times but with only 2 children. We have driven it straight through once but decided it's so far that it was a bit too dangerous. We arrived at the end of the third day. Exhausted is not the word for it! Your vlog brought back so many memories. Thanks for making the effort to edit and upload it.
We too made the drive to Florida to be with my parents this Christmas. We came from Northern Indiana and its about 18 1/2 hours but we hit the major cities at great times. We rolled thru Atlanta at about 1 am and it was a breeze and the lights on the buildings were beautiful! We do the same thing and drive thru but always hit that wall where we think about stopping but never do. We traveled with 4 boys ages 7-17 and they had their moments but we are glad we came. Enjoy your visit and safe travels home!
Wow, so inspiring! Now I know we can do a full non-stop trip with just two people and no kids. I was a wimp before but I'm truly inspired! Blessings to you and your family!
everyone is different though! maybe try some shorter trips and see how you both do. driving while tired can be very dangerous. just remember safety is worth spending on 😊 (eg staying the night somewhere and breaking up the trip)
@@OurTribeofMany , we used to drive all day and all night and then find a motel in the morning. The kids would play in the room and watch TV quietly while we slept for a few hours and then got a shower.
We went from st. Louis to Florida and did the se thing left later in the day to get to Nashville and Atlanta in the early early morning and no traffic! Best decision. Safe travels and happy holidays!
I live in Georgia, and my husband hates driving in Atlanta. It takes us about 1 1/2 hours to get there from our house. But that is where all my doctors are. Safe Travels to y’all!
ALL I COULD THINK WHEN I WAS WATCHING THIS VIDEO IS HOW NICE THE FEELING IS THAT YOU GUYS MUST HAVE AS IT GETS WAMER AND WARMER. ... ITS BLOODY COLD IN CANADA RIGHT NOW SO IM LIVING VIA YOU.
Let Solo get his makeup on!!! And give the Papa a hug!!! 😜 I so love your family and your parents!!! Would love to give ALL of you hugs!!! Oh wait....social distancing...ok, air high fives 🤣 Enjoy yalls visit!!! Blessings!!!
I've driven from the north of England down to the south of France a couple of times and I absolutely loved it. Took the best part of 2 days with an overnight stop in Paris, but you get to see and experience so much more than when flying. You just have to make it part of the adventure.
I drove my family to Orlando in July in my husband's F-250 that sits on a 3 inch left kit. I have a nerve problem with my inner ear that makes me feel like I'm going to fall when I'm up high. That drive over Eagle Mountain 😥 made me realize Jesus is real I couldn't pray enough! I'm retired from driving over that mountain!🤣
You live in a beautiful country Sarah. You could drive from one end of the UK to the other in not that many hours. We are a very small island. I envy all the amazing sights you've driven passed. Great video! X
Florida is home for Hubby and I but we moved away 27 years ago. Most of the family is still there though. Love seeing the palm trees and skyline. It is a ten hour trip for us now and all we can do now the we are 60 plus. You had a great drive through Atlanta! It is between us and our oldest son's family so we are old pros at picking our times to go through.
I’m glad Luka got to go with Grammy on the plane. Just out of curiosity, how do you pick which kid gets to go. Do you pick their name out of a jar, pick a number 1-100 or something like that ? 😂 just interested. Bless your family. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! 🎆 🎊
We live in Ontario Canada - the summer before last we took our 2 kids on a road trip to vermont and Main - everyone asked if we hated it and the answer is the same .. no ... we only have 2 kids .. but it was an amazing experience. love traveling in little towns and seeing the country too.
