RU-vid randomly recommended this series to me and I can’t stop watching. There’s something so heartwarming about your reactions to all these new experiences. When you’re older, you’re 100% going to be so glad you had this adventure at 18, hopping around Europe with your friend and no plan.
It seems going without a plan always makes for the best adventures and the best stories. You don't know what to expect so it'll most definitely be an interesting experience. This is a good inspiration to do less planning for my next vacation but rather improvise it as I go. 😁
Yeah, Co-ops are terribly expensive. We have loads in England, but only small shops, it's not where you do a weekly food shop (unless you're old and that's all you can get to, or you have more money than sense), and we rarely have co-op supermarkets. Aldi and Lidl are our inexpensive German supermarkets
My brother traveled europe and had Eurorail pass and didnt stay in a hotel at all. He would just book a ticket on the train for overnight travel to the next place he wanted to go.
Dude it’s pretty spendy right now, I thought I was going to spend a lot less, I don’t have exact costs, but with a plane ticket and after a month here it’ll run me about $2,500-3000. Would definitely recommend another country/continent based on budget.
I'm very late to to this conversation, but it really depends. Anywhere in Western Europe costs are high, but the further east and outside of the EU you go (Balkans and Russia / Ukraine) , the further your money will stretch too. A coffee at a coffee shop in Copenhagen will cost you $5 at least. In Albania you are looking more at $1. Similarly in Denmark a beer can cost $8, in Albania it's $1 or less. Again, Denmark you will struggle to stay anywhere with your own bedroom for under $100, in Albania it will be $25 for a whole apartment each night. Don't think of Europe as the US, think of it as comparing Cuba, Mexico, Dominica and Florida.
@@alexanderjamestravel bro you picked the absolute worst country to go to one a budget. I will say the views are worth it. You should've stayed in Interlakken for a day the lakes there are crazy.
