Finally another video! After binge watching the last series in one day, I kept watching them over and over. This one is so different, the mix of food, the views and the danger was awesome. Kudos to you for your creativity. Please keep them coming.
Yo Kevin, your videos are great! You should visit the Guang Dong region sometime. Especially the Foshan and Shun De area. Tons of food, especially delicious seafood! Keep it up man! You and Trevor are the best for entertaining videos about China. I've binged watch both your channels and it hits me right in the feels. So much nostalgia flowing in, as if I'm getting a feeling of living back in the motherland! If I'm ever in the Shanghai area we should hangout and eat some good local Chinese food! Other than that, good work man! I can't wait to see your next vid.
Wish you had filmed this video before I went to Shanghai, those rooftop views are just stunning! At least I got to go to Renaissance's Infinity Pool, even though we got kicked out after 10min ahah Keep up the great work dude, you get my mouth watering for such amazing dishes for such cheap prices everytime!
I love all the awesome videos of Shanghai that you captured and how inexpensive it can be. I might have to get a China Visa to visit again for a week of R&R by the end of the year! One of the things I like to eat is at 7-11, where they sell skewers of fish patties, balls and the star anise flavored hard-boiled eggs. Thanks for sharing!
i grew up in shanghai and this vid just reminded me of how many people are trying to stop you from doing things there. Too many rules and too many don'ts. Awesome video! thanks for showing me the side of Shanghai i never saw before (and never thought possible!).
Wow! Big props to you and that Mark guy for rooftopping and recording it. Takes a lot of guts to do that. Really liked how you made the rooftopping theme work for this video and combined it with the $20 dollars a day challenge. Well done. If I find a pot of gold in the near future, I'll ask if I can crash on your couch. You should think about giving people tours in Shanghai. You're pretty good at showing people around and the ropes in China. Good job.
Amazing! I love your videos mate, making China look beautiful to visit. I'm travelling to Suzhou for 10 months from England for study, next month, would love if you could recommend your favourite place of all time to visit in Shanghai for inbound residents!
Watched your vid and AWESOME view my friend!!! The rooftop looks freaky, just sneak around a few more rooftops, they will not going to arrest you.. The worst case is they just gonna kick you out. Just Sub / like. Keep it up and Have a GREAT time in Shanghai.
OMG, you guys crazy, it so scary, you guys could have fallen down from the roof top being that close to the edge. You guys really are risk takers. But I have to admit, it's a great video, something just different than the rest of the other videos. It must be the " excitement". Thanks for posting.
Hi, new subscriber over here. Just started binge watching your episodes last night. How about $20 traveling to Singapore (extra challenging) or $20 traveling to Nepal (I think you will spend less than that though)? Looking forward to your future episodes! Btw, you are on point with your Mandarin Chinese pronunciation! :)
Actually you are allowed to take pictures and videos with tripod in public area in China. Guards are only told to stop white people filming in these areas, because they are suspicious about spies.
@@thorchh As a Chinese, I think its because if someone fell, then they may get blamed? I am from Wuhan, a better cozy living city, I do not like people's mindset from Nanjing. Hope you could come to Wuhan one day~~
Enjoy following your whole series of 20 Dollars a Day! But why some of the episodes are with subtitles while others are not? Hope you guys will come and explore Guilin(桂林)one day.
To get around the tripod restriction, tie a coin (with a hole in) or a washer to a string. Tie a screw to the other end, and screw it into your camera's tripod hole. Stand on the coin and pull the camera up so the string is taught. Voila! Steady filming without a tripod.
You did some dangerous things on top of these buildings. This not only endangers you but also other people on the ground if you fall. A child could have been crushed to death by your fall or he could have been traumatized. Please don't do that again.
State cameras everywhere ..once you were caught and identified, they continue to follow you on camera... and know what you're going to do as soon as you enter yet another tall building ... and they alert them.
Hello from Brazil! Great work! I've been following for a while and you always give us awesome tips! I'll be in shanghai in June and i'll be totally alone and on a real lo budget since i'll be backpacking! Do you have any tips for a lonely traveler?
Extremely dangerous , reminds me of a case year back in London where an unexpectedly wind blew a person of the edges rooftop. He did not survive. Many skyline videos exist of this awesome city Shanghai but from a safe distance , but not from the roof edge .
really luv ur videos so far. As korean i recommend u to film in Seoul. the price level is 比较贵 than China but since it's close to China u can come over and film it🤗 And since 青岛 is the most beloved visiting sites and yea i had my best moments in qingdao so i highly recommend there too😘
can you pinpoint the location you just rooftop it?? i saw so many shanghai instagram took photo on the rooftop but don't know which building they are in
Did you feel afraid when your guys stood on the top of those high buildings? The reason why you were busted is these security guard thought it is very dangerious when you filmed on the top of those buildings.Anyway the view on the top is amazing, thanks for your filming!!
Geez Bruh nearly shit my pants every time you guys go to the edge of a building.Really great videos man! You guys should visit Hefei in Anhui province. Would like to meet you guys !
wow i see u back again cutie....but its look like scary on the roof top but its kind of exciting....hehehe very nice video of shanghai...godbless your travel always
