I finally made it to Thailand after 5 flights and 1 lost bag. It is so exciting to be visiting South East Asia for the first time in my life. It was a long trip to get there, but so far Bangkok is blowing my mind. I am excited to explore this amazing country!

Iconsiam is the best mall in Thailand. It's quite impressive. My wife and I explored Thailand and visited 14 malls throughout Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Hua Hin. And we used Grab in all three cities. And of course the BTS and MRT in Bangkok.

Sharby can you buy a motorcycle as a foreigner? I want to move to Laos but will be traveling to Thailand. Any advice is appreciated. BTW reason why I'm not staying in Thailand too long is because to be a citizen takes 5 years, Laos much shorter. -EDIT does Amazon deliver in Thailand? I bought a motorcycle off Amazonbefore, might be cheaper. Thnx in advance

@@TSnowy23 I would not ride a motorbike/cycle in Thailand if you gave me one for free. (well maybe in the countryside, but not in any city of size.) Extremely dangerous. But, sure you can buy or rent one. Make sure you have an international driver's license and have a motorcycle endorsement. I'm not that familiar with all the Thai laws, but I know that many of them are selectively enforced. I would be retiring in Thailand, but their new tax laws and Visa process is a nightmare. We are hoping to retire to the Philippines, where my wife is from and live in Thailand for five months out of the year.

Coconut water in tropical zone as Southeast Asia is sweet. You don't worry about they will fill sugar in it. Coconut will be opened only when you buy. ✌️

We are travelling to Thailand from Vancouver in February. The direct flight is less than 17 hours! We have a 9 hr drive to get to Vancouver,couldn😢 have handled your flight itinerary.

Your is way better! I booked such a last minute place ticket, and I originally thought I wanted to go to Indonesia, so I booked to there. And then I decided Thailand, so I bought a separate ticket.

Welcome to Thailand I love to see your reaction. Try the local street food and fruit it is very good and cheap. I recommend you carry a small change like 20, 50, 100 bath bill so, you don’t have any problems with taxi driver or Tuck Tuck. You can change from 1000 bill to a small bill by go to 7eleven anywhere in Thailand on problem.

Welcome to Thailand, Petrena 🙏🏻😌. That’s “Crepe Thing” that you had, it’s actually Japanese food called “Okonomiyaki”, Thai people have applied it by roll it with skewer (or chopsticks) for easier to eat and minced pork with egg yolk in crab shell, it’s called “Poo Jaa” “Poo” mean crab and “Jaa” it’s actually used as particle word for add more politeness or sweetness but in this, I am not sure 😅 in my opinion, most of kids love this dish and it’s eaten with sweet sauce, maybe that’s why 😂😂😂. So, hope you have a great trip in Thailand. 🇹🇭 😊

Actually the first sentence if you met your friends on the way is where have you been and then follow with sentence Have you eaten yet. 😅 So Have you eaten yet is not for the first greeting sentence and used for a bit familiar for a while. Anyone both stranger or foreigner greeted you with Have you eaten yet sounds so weird 😅😂😂

I love Thailand. I hope you have a great time. The only thing that may be a bummer is that you are there during high season. I heard local flights are pricey right now. If it's too hot, just stay to the air conditioned malls and only go out during the morning and evening. IconSiam, Terminal 21, Siam Paragon, Central World, are some of the most popular malls and all have food courts that are reasonably priced.

I booked a last minute flight with aeroplan points, so there wasn't alot of options. Once I got to Jakarta I booked a separate flight to Bangkok. Definitely the most flights I have had to do in 1 journey.

Thank you! That sounds like a great trip. I just got a visa on arrival. It's only 30 days, after that I will have to pay for an extension.
