Thank you for taking us on this very personal journey of yours and sharing it. The PCH seemed to be in very good condition all along the route. I agree the climate is almost perfect. I spent a lot of time in these beach towns when I lived in Southern California and learned to love them. As always, your choice of music was special.Thanks for a lovely afternoon. Thank you for sharing your memories with us, it's always fascinating to hear about the local history. I've been here since 1975, and much has changed since then. Way more people and way more cars. It is kinda had to keep people out of here, it is like a paradise here in SoCal. Best weather in all of the US, and maybe the world.

Hi Rachel - I looked for links to both of the Tomer Ben Ari songs I featured on this video, but the only place I see to download them is at Artlist.com. That site provides music for content creators and is by subscription only. I love his music and I have used a lot of his songs in a lot of my videos. Only drawback is the water is freezing cold and never for swimming.

True - you need a wetsuit to swim in the ocean here on the West Coast. The Humbolt current that runs along the coast here brings us very cold water from deep in the Pacific. That same current brings a bounty of nutrients that attract the fish and marine mammals to our shores as well. I love to watch our local dolphins swim by, and they would not be here without that cold current!
