Me and my father used to watch South Park episodes. This is his favorite South Park scene and his favorite episode. He is always smiling or laughing when he remembers this moment.

Always loved how this episode spoofed "The Wizard of Oz" (one of my favorite movies of all time), including how the Canadian people hide in the bushes when the boys first arrive in Canada (similar to how the munchkins hide in the bushes when Dorothy first arrives in Oz), the similar sounding musical numbers, and making Scott like the Wicked Witch of the West. "Who's that?" "That's Scott. He's a DICK!" LMFAO!

For all Americans that don't know, and any Europeans who really don't know, Canada only has one cross-country highway, the Trans-Canada. It's the result of cobbling together provincial roadworks that have been constructed over many decades, and if you follow it from end to end, you'll find it behaves in very weird ways. But it is the only road that goes across the entire country (mostly). To be honest, driving it once was enough. Now, if I ever want to do a long roadie back home to Toronto from Vancouver, I'll cross the border and drive East using the IRs in the States. They're way more direct and can shave an entire day off the trip. But I have to make sure I bring coins to get through the toll booths. That caught me by surprise when I first made the trip. Fortunately the large American lady in the toll booth was quite gracious and let me through anyways, but not without laughing and saying in a strong accent 'you're the 4th Canadian I seen today who tried to pay me with funny money'. But what else could I do? I only had bills with the Queen's head on 'em. I had to try.

The thing is the whole “only one road” thing isn’t a joke, it’s actually kind of true. While America has a network of many highways called the Interstate, Canada has only major highway the connects all the major cities at the bottom of the country called the Trans-Canada Highway.

I like how being Canadian in the South Park universe automatically gives you that appearance and accent XD

Never thought I'd love a canadian version of the yellow brick road of the wizard of Oz. I know the whole episode was pretty much the foundation of it but i loved this song a lot aswell as french canada

You know when it's a setup when the pilot is the only person who has a parachute, luckily for the four main characters of South Park they have main character immunity which is pretty much cartoon invincibility.
