@@markntiri8251 I'm a Nigerian and I can tell if my surname has any Ghanaian connection, though we answer other names like Amah, etc. that sounds like Ghanaian names too. Some of our names also sound like names answered by people from Southwestern Cameroon too.
@@nsikakessien there's this ethnic group in Nigeria I hear originated from Ghana. I've forgotten their name. The Annang people or so. Annang means 4th child in the Akan language, and I've heard Nigerians say these people were brought into Nigeria from Ghana etc. These stuff are not in Ghanaian history books
@@markntiri8251 Wow, Annang is an ethnic group in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria(my state), and Annang is a sub-group of the Ibibio ethnic group of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria where I come from. Thanks for the information, I never knew this. it may interest you to also know that Akan is a popular male name in the Ibibio ethnic group and it means Victor in English, while Akan is a tribe in Ghana.
