Traveling To Japan For The First Time ALONE! 14 Hour Flight To Tokyo On Delta Airlines Main Cabin 

I’m going solo to Japan in early August for a cruise. I will first visit Disney Tokyo and was able to change my reservation a few weeks ago to a vacation package. I’m excited to get to go to Fantasy Springs and these videos will be so helpful!!

It’s very character building to travel alone. It’s good that you learn how to occupy yourself, and be comfortable with being with yourself alone and to solve problems on your own. And next time I recommend bringing a book. Just in case the Wi-Fi is down again. But I’m super jealous. You’re back in Japan. Can’t wait for the vlog Oh, and I had to edit to add this, skip the alcohol next time it’s actually not good for sleep. And just stop by the smoke shop and grab you some CBD gummy‘s. I just traveled to okinawa japan from central Florida for my second time again 2 days ago. I also recognize the airport in your video is MCO because I left from there as well. Definitely an anxious feeling.

Come back to Minnesota! You missed so much within MSP airport, and so much to do in the twin cities! Suggestion, come back during the great MN get together, the MN state fair. We also have so many sporting events, theater, Mall of America, Valley Fair, Juicy Lucy’s, lakes, parks, museums, and much more! Plus we don’t have to be miserable in the heat during the summer months!

If you have a longer layover in minneapolis, mall of america is right next door and the MSP airport is one of the best in the country if you wanna really check it out. You came in just at the right time too because of all the renovations going on there.

Fantasy springs here we go!

My Husband is from Minnesota! We love it there. That is a huge and amazing airport. But JoJo you need to stay a weekend at Mall of America and do the Nickelodeon theme park that’s inside the mall. They also have a Soaring ride just like Epcot but much much longer and usually two different versions to chose from. We have a vlog from our trip there. Have fun in Tokyo! -Eve

JoJo, everything feels like home, but did you forget that you don’t wear your shoes inside the house? Big no no in Japan and there is a shoe shelf at the door of your hotel. That should’ve been the first clue. Put your slippers on lol

Go to the main part of the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport where the food court is! Plenty of cool restaurants/bars/shops! And there's a restaurant with golf simulators! :)

We recently went to Mall of America last month which is right near that minneapolis airport where you had your layover and recommend it.. so much to do and there's a Nickelodeon theme park in the middle of it..

I’m a ticketing and gate agent and I can assure you that you can upgrade at the gate. A little upset that they misinformed you! But next time you know, and can definitely get it done. If the agent doesn’t know how to do it, ask for a red coat! They’ll do it for you. ☺️

We do the 13 hour nonstop to Haneda all the time with our 5 kids from Minneapolis. We always fly Delta, and we always go nonstop because the one time we didn't we have a 5am flight and a 6 hour layover that turned into a 10 hour layover. We love MSP. We have flown out of the same gate (G4) for over 12 years, but your gate was F12 and it is the same flight number as the one we take later this year. This might be new for us.

I'm late to the game...but as a former road-warrior, I agree with you that though on the ground, I never considered that I had been someplace unless I leave the airport. MSP looks like it is under renovation...Not the newest fanciest airport, but I always enjoyed traveling through and to there. Traveling to Tokyo...12 hours on the way...and you arrive a day even later, crossing the International date line (always confused me when making reservations at my destinations in Asia. So glad you're are getting to do this JoJo!!

I love your layover is at MSP airport. You should come back and visit the Mall of America. It had a huge indoor theme -Nickalodeon Univerise and a Huge Lego store. Will enjoy your Japan series.

You should have gone into the main concourse at MSP. The F-gates are getting remodeled and missing all the ceilings..but the main concourse is like a shopping mall with much higher ceilings and stores/restaurants. I live in ND and have to connect thru MSP everytime we fly DL. The terminal is shaped like an H and you only saw the top left corner of it. Reasons to come back to MSP are the Mall of America, Prince's home/studio, Filming locations for many movies like Mighty Ducks, Purple Rain, Grumpy old Men, Untamed Heart. Come in summer not winter!

Jojo minnesotas Disney world is our state fair that's when you should come 12 days of fun and is the largest state fair food is amazing. It's labor day and the 11 days before.

You need an American Express Amex Card. It is WORTH the price. The Delta lounge is amazing and the perks are worth it. You could have gotten an upgrade in the snap of a finger
