Look, I know this film is about traveling to Montreal to shoot a short film... but your talking heads are gorgeous. The balance in the background, the color contrast, shooting into the L of the room, the hints of subtle light accentuating different elements, it's gorgeous man.

I saw the purple dot @ 7:34 and wondered if you were using an EF lens on the C70 with the adapter. Soon after that you showed the set up. That is rough. Fun shoot though. Props. Canon C70 kills it!!

Hi, & bienvenu/welcome to MTL, you were very lucky to not being caught & expelled in the Old Port (officially Canadian Federal territory). Because personnally after about 5 min, a security (many secu/cameras) warned us (needed a permit) because I used off-flash with a model ! The same happenned (warned needed a permit because it’s Paramunicipal territory, on Ile-St-Helene/Casino & the Iconic, still memorable Buckminster/Fuller/Geodesic/Dome, from the 1967 Universal Exposition. So for other place’s in the city it’s very arbitrary, you can still be warned because we are using prof/cam like a DSLR !/?. Still good luck on your next location and for your ongoing informative videos.
