When you walked into your house for the first time, I Bursted into tears 😭 Joe had it all set up and ready for his family to come and that has got to be the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. What a good Daddy! He loves his family ♥️ (Also I am 12 weeks pregnant so that may be why this made me so emotional LOL 😂)

I know it’s hard to move away from your family and start a new chapter but, since it is a new chapter you can make the best out of it. I moved to Puerto Rico when I was a teenager away from my family and I actually loved it. I met so many people and now I have friends that I continue to have in my life. Glad your mother had control of Riley, but apparently she was awed enough by the new experience to not risk misbehavior that could elicit unknown consequences. Jackson did not look like he was about to poop and might stay asleep, except to eat. I think you lucked-out. The baby is just reacting to physical distress when he gets upset. The toddler is another story because meltdowns are fairly common in this phase of childhood, but they also have to begin learning now where and when they can behave certain ways. So, it's fortunate none of that arose. Snacks are always the last resort. Good you did not have to pull them out and your mother was right next to her by the window for her to look out. The Buell Bambinos done good! Joe did a good job getting the house ready, so you can make the most of the time with your mother there to unpack and to explore the area with her and the kids, so that you feel a bit more comfortable going out and about. You are so right that Riley needed to be kept busy and you with a baby needed to be on the aisle so you could get up and walk him or get to the bathroom fast if there was a big blowout. Aisle seats have their advantages. Good tips you are giving people re: slip-on shoes and your bag's clasp. Pleased you are at home: safe and sound.
