My Moon is in CAPRICORN. I remember a few years back when I started my journey, I read something that was sent to me on Astrology profile. It affected me so much that I can't explain. It stated that (not verbadem) having a CAPRICORN moon sign was pretty much horrible. You would struggle your while life, etc... I since researched, after gaining myself back and have found that to be untrue. (Be Leary of what you take in) Thank you for this wonderful explanation of my moon. As a mother of a child with scorpio moon, I think moon in scorpio is misunderstood, worst? If one believes in God, or a good creator, nothing in nature can be bad/worst. Other example, poor saturn, that just wants to make things real

Totally on point with that moon in Scorpio! It's been a bit of a journey finding a healthy sense of detachment, but the more I work with my inner world/shadow side, the more emotional peace I gain. It really forces me to see the truth of how incredibly powerful our inner world is and how directly it effects our outer world. Also, since I have mine in the third house I usually know how to read between the lines with how others are feeling/communicating and understand what's really going on (which can be handy, but mostly just reminds me that most people are on the same page, but everyone's speaking a different language lol.)
Moon in Cancer. It's been a continuing journey learning to mother myself and help my clients do the same. My mom passed in February, and our connection continues to nurture and inform my emotional growth. I think it is so important to understand the whole natal chart. To see how each piece fits together to create the beautiful puzzle that creates your whole self. Just looking at one part alone is only a small piece of of the whole puzzle. My moon sign is in Virgo in the 8th house. My sun sign is in Sag in the 11th. I have a majority of my personal planets in Sag. I have Pluto in Libra and Saturn in Scorpio in the 9th. I have a Midheaven in Scorpio with Jupiter and a Capricorn Rising. I delve in and investigate the root cause of pain to transcend it and heal, while embracing unconditional love, compassion and forgiveness for myself and others. I see the bigger picture and I apply higher perspectives to the experience. Journaling helps me to organize my thoughts, emotions and realizations. I not only look at my own life, I watch and listen to the whole world around me and reflect on all of it. I honor balance and neutrality by transcending black-and-white thinking. I look at how society has this thought pattern of "Splitting" across centuries. Any healing themes that I am personally moving through I also offer to to the universe to help the world heal those similar themes. I feel a strong connection to the macrosmic and microcosmic link. I believe in both science and magic. I also watch and listen for synchronicities and signs from spirit.
I've come recently come to realize the great importance of the moon sign. Mine is Gemini and understanding it is just as important as the sun and ascendant. Sun, Ascendant and Moon is like the main holy trinity of your whole chart incorporating your planets and houses
Curious what type(s) of astrology you both find your charts identify? I've always identified with my Aquarius sun w/ Western astrology. Now that I'm researching sideral, I'm conflicted a little. My Western moon in aries hasn't felt right, Pisces moon sidereal is hauntingly accurate. If I were to seek a chart reading from a professional, I don't know which way to go. Can't imagine asking a reader to pretend my moon is somewhere else 🤷♀️

@@Kate-hh8yi I find Western works to be accurate for Westerners. I can never get Vedic to work for anyone I know here. Maybe you have Neptune in Cancer, or a stellium in Pisces or the 12th house, or your Moon's in the 12th house, similar rulership influences, etc, that makes you relate to a Pisces Moon. I could even relate to the Aries Moon description and I have Mars on my Ascendant.

Pisces Moon natal 12th house......daunting....🙃 progressed Moon in Aries ♈️ with Aries Rising....Always felt more Aries than my Pisces Moon. I’m more “Aries” than my Mom was for sure....
This is very true actually, as a child I was an adult in mini form, and way ahead of my time..I am now in the phase of 'Detachment' to focus within myself. Yes I had a very cold, aloof and responsible childhood and didn't have a caring peak experience with my father primarily!

Leo moon. My mother did her best to prevent me to be myself, so I became very adept at being myself DESPITE opposition. It took 6 decades for me to find the area of life and my sisters in The Order of the White Moon who love me for myself.
Same here. Leo sun and moon. Mom clipped my wings and hurt my spirit as a kid. But I see now that I can’t expect from someone what they aren’t capable of giving. Through that I forgave her. However , she isn’t a part of my life . 40 years of abuse is enough for me. God bless

In addition to that, there was a total solar eclipse in North America on the day I was born. This was a wonderful overview. I do have a question though. A lot of the qualities that you speak of are more on the positive side. If you had an abusive or even an absentee mother, would the qualities be more representative of the shadow side of that sign?
