It seems that for those of us with Venus in Scorpio, we are our own soulmate. In a sense. And it is up to us to truly recognize that in this lifetime. So until we can acknowledge, accept and embody this belief only then might we be able to find a partner who will reciprocate that same energy to us. Venus in Aries here and I enjoying flying Solo. People think it's odd I show up at events by myself and ask "are you here alone"? Even my Kindergarten report card said "plays well alone"! I can see how it's considered in its detriment when it's all about relationships and fiery, but it trines Mercury in my chart and I do make money from communications and love my siblings, cousins and neighbors! Not sure what I'm fighting, maybe fear of intimacy..Thanks, Molly for another enjoyable podcast. Much better than listening to politics right now.
Venus in Gemini here, in the 11th house. You're spot on. Nose in a book, up in my head, all about conversations etc in the first half of my life. At 69 I've migrated to heart and body. It took a while.

I have a tough time with relationships, become very close and then sometimes people are uncomfortable with how much they reveal to me and back away. I often become a therapist to others more than a friend, where I am giving but not receiving that same energy. I’m learning to be very careful with who I allow in my energy field.. boundaries 💖
Ugh feel you. Venus in Scorpio in 4th - square Ascendant, contra-parallel Chiron life has been incredibly painful and isolated. Virgo Moon in 1st doesn't help either. So much self-harm healed and yet to heal. Having a relationship scares the shit out of me, as I had one and it was very abusive. You nailed it with boundaries! The key. Venus Virgo 11th house! This part really struck me, "Venus Virgo is learning to not be too focused on the real world, to not be overly focused on what she can and cannot do, did or did not do, but to see herself in this beautiful human form." Literally me since my child hood and believing anything was possible. I was told I was crazy, I needed to "be more in the real world" and to come back from "fairytale land." I finally listened to the critics only to find my energy a bit detached and cold. Came back to who I truly am and feel 1000x better. I also LOVE when I am working on a project, lately my art, and I find myself almost coaching myself. Reminding myself it's okay if it's not perfect, that I can take as much time as I need to work on my latest sketch.

Thank you Molly, I found this extremely valuable! I listened for my natal Venus in Cancer. Cancer is my 11th house so elements of Venus in Aquarius rang true. Finally my progressed Venus is currently in my 12th house and approaching my ascendant in a few months; so Venus in Pisces supported that as well. Synthesizing all 3 provided a rounded out Venus story and that makes this Virgo rising happy! 😊

Wooow!!! Very very clever. I picked up right at the end, how you described what 'balances' an alignment (if it needs it). Like the north and south nodes - go to the opposite zodiac sign ie. to balance anything re Venus in Pisces - go to Virgo - maybe Venus in Virgo? Great advice! Could work for other alignments too, I'm guessing.
Venus in scorpio conjunct Uranus. Im a living example of that in play, its a need fir deep intimacy and a need for space all at the same time. 12 years ago I met the man who gives me both, after I finally (in one of those catastrophic epiphany moments) decided to honor myself first.

What do you think? How does it apply to your two natal placements and life at that point?
The energy shows up in the progressed chart prominently, and can signify one's first true love, an important relationship, a money development, financial gain, self-confidence, a change in one's appearance, etc. This depends on whether natal Venus is behind the Sun, or ahead of the Sun in degrees. :)
Venus Pisces 21 degrees conjunct Mars Venus 19 degrees in 7th. Neptune transit has me baffled and more careful lately in relationships now and going forward. Not so fortunate with healthy, long term romantic partners throughout my life....frustrating I’m 67. My last and longest romantic relationship left me emotionally and mentally abused and penniless. I really struggle with this. It’s a very deep wound due to the messages I’ve received throughout my life. Stories of course - but told to me over and over and over by many different people over time. I have Venus in Cancer in my first house. It is conjunct my first house Jupiter which is conjunct my ASC. So self image is VERY important to me. Venus is also square my natal pluto which is conjunct my north node so there are MAJOR life lessons here and a lot of pain to be alchemized in order to learn them. Venus is semi square my Saturn which is conjunct my sun. I have a very fragile sense of self worth. Venus is trine my Uranus however and it’s Sextile my Chiron and Vesta so I am definitely wanting to heal. My Pluto is in Libra and it’s in my 5th house which is ruled by Venus. So, am I learning to create a new sense of self through partnership? Venus also rules my 12th house and my moon - the dispositor of my Venus in Cancer is in my 12th house. It happens to be UNASPECTED except for a square to the MC. So again, very unstable and fragile sense of self worth. I’m very insecure. It’s a lifelong struggle. This is my biggest obstacle to over come so that I can find success in life. I have to learn how to value myself without a need for validation from others. I am very aware of all of this but I still never seen to be able to heal it. Is it because my Chiron in Taurus(disposed of by Venus) is in my 11th house? My wounded healer wants to feel a sense of self worth within the tribe - the collective. I have not been embraced by the collective so I keep turning back in on myself. Would you say that based on my placements this is an accurate assessment? What would be the remedy?
Hello Bo Bo🌞 Im having Venus in cancer in 10th (intercepted because I prefere placidus, if whole house its in 11th) squared by Pluto in libra from the 2nd. Mars in scorpio from 2nd quincunx Moon in gemini in th 9th. I have had lots of negative self talk in my head, but long ago I realized Im my own worst enemy. Now as 40yo Im my own best friend. It has taken plenty of shadow work and introspection to accept myself with all the aspect I have. I have Sun, Mercury and Jupiter in virgo in the 12th, and Saturn in 1st, with Neptune conjuncting ic. Mostly I have invested my emotional energy in creating art. I mother my inner twins and they feel safe to have fun. I dont know how old you are, but dont worry too much, because that is waste of energy(I did it alot, got rid of that and judging). Instead have fun in the ways that are true to you. My Venus is Pisces so love is of deep importance, yet I have a damaged moon--Mother wound and relationship with father also not good. Self love is also damaged. Venus in Pisces is conjunct my sun in Aries, somehow that makes Venus more like fighting self. Interesting.
