Old airfields should be protected in the same way are shipwrecks. For many without graves, these were the last places they stood on earth... Great video, thanks.
At the very least a few buildings should survive and given to members of the public to run as mini museums and as a memorial to those that never returned.
My grandfather flew from Gravely as a flight Sargent navigator for 35 squadron. I then grew up living next door to the airfield. Thank you for these videos. It’s of great interest to me.
