You should set up one of those catapult/centrifuges in the nether. Eight times the distance, eight times the terror!

Maybe the catapult-like transport could be called the telepult transport since it is basically instant and can be done over such large distances.

This series has inspired me to play create myself, and I’m having so much fun! Loving seeing what you get up to each episode, I feel like this mod is made for you. Very Zedaphy

doink! bing! bong! pop! sproing! zwing! I love this series so much -- all these big brains are clearly having so much fun -- but my favorite part is probably Zed's rampant onomatopoeia as he watches all the machines do their work.

The maximum blocks moved is 2048. And you can double that (Because you go to the other side aswel). So it should technically be 4096 blocks. This wil maybe cause some lag tho. Also you have to be sure the chunks are loaded because otherwise you will be kicked from the seat and the arm will just float in mid-air.

Personaly I must say the catapult thingy is the one I find most zedaphy. Imagine a long row of those where you'll get transferred from one long stick to the next one. It will look soo hillarious! xD

The catapult is kind of OP but I love it! I believe it's limited to the chunk render distance or the create build contraption limit (depending on which one is lower on your server).

Zedaph I’m loving this series! If you set the weighted ejector a few blocks below your desired landing point you’ll land on the platform instead of smashing your face.

This going in circles at max speed would be just pure youtube gold :)

This create mod is the best thing I have ever played in minecraft. I am usually not modding and play vanilla, since mods can break the balance easily, but create for me makes minecraft a lot more progressive. The creator of this mod did a fantastic job letting me feel how I slowly progress from stoneage to industrial age. Especially all this extra ways to process materials brings so much extra depth into the game. Your first episodes explaining washing didn't seem too exciting to me until I played it myself and realised how much automation is possible processing through different items. Going through all the processing and finding ways to get infine iron and gold was so fun. Now I've got a big mashine inside a mountain constantly pumping out materials, taking away a lot of work and let me concentrate on the next project with much more stuff. Thanks for showing me! I've got a blast

you should try doing something with the fact that the trapdoors stay the same when you rotate the house, it can do some nice mechanics

Create Hermits discovering basic physics is a nice section

I can imagine a spherical base where you use a horizontal catapult to just move you around to different sections. You can have one layer just dedicated to transportation but you can have different contraptions at different points around the circle. Maybe something that could be experimented with in the upcoming industrial area you guys are working on together?

Next episode is probably about chaining catapults together :D

IDEA for one of your Hermitcraft Zedvancements: When hermits join into Hermitcraft, and you press tab, they pop up in a row. Maybe get a bunch of them to join one by one to create a word with the first letter of each of their gamer tags? I think it could be pretty fun!

I like the idea of a horizontal 'catapult' like that, it'd be like a big merry go round ! You could have 4 stops, and even have it in a full 4 directions, so while it's stopped you can just cross it like a bridge to the center 'island'. So many possibilities!

I don’t know why I wasn’t watching any of these Create videos before, but they’re really interesting, in a good way. All these things that theoretically should never work in minecraft manage to work with actual physics, too, like how the flow of the water determines the direction of the gears and such. Very cool :)

You need to test the catapult to see what happens if you try and get off the seat mid swing, will your momentum carry you miles or not?

If the catapult can throw & catch, & use remote bluetooth to turn different catapults, you could set up a grid of them to toss things to difference locations, or a throw a few hundred chickens at someone, or cows, pigs, fish, goats, or all of them.

trains are actually better for much longer distances - they need quite a bit of run-up to reach their top speed. with fuel like you gave Speedy, a train's top speed is around 1000 blocks per minute, or (taking each block to be 1 meter cubed) 60km/h trains *without* fuel supplied are actually half as fast as fueled trains, travelling at 500 blocks per minute (or 30km/h).

what the catapult is making me think of is nether transport. set up a couple of them on the nether roof and have all of them be within clicking radius of player (like; if catapult 1 ends on block 345 the next one is seated on block 347 or somthing). instant nether travle and yall wount have to deal with ice boats even!

The panel idea is just so inspired and fun!

You could do a centrifugal catapult linked to a clock, so you could move at sweeping intervals around the area. Or you could have multiple rings of buildings, each one being a "station", so you sit on the arm and press a wireless button so it spins round to the next station in the sequence. Lurch by lurch, round and round xD

11:33 reminded me of some sort of automated flapjack machine! Such good animations in this mod!

So today I showed up at work today at 5 to do truck, and after waiting for four hours for truck to show up, we find out it isn't supposed to arrive until tomorrow. No big deal, but I didn't get to sleep until 2 in the morning. I get home, collapse into my bed, and then I wake up hours later and inevitably begin to make my RU-vid rounds. As I click onto yours, that intro beat begins to hit and still rubbing sleep from my eyes, I can't help it, I start bobbing back and forth, lol. -Takes hat off and drops to one knee- Take my like, sir!

Tiny complaint but its getting on my nerves: The gear at 1:33 doesnt have perfect rotational symmetry. The staircase at the bottom left of it is the wrong way up. Its a minor gripe, but I suppose you could say it "Grinds my gears" lmao. Loving the series so far!

maybe what you can do, with some repeaters, some logic, machines called a "sticker", and "redstone contact", is make your door get taken out of the wall, so you never have to worry about proper orientation in order to get out
