Montenegro is a hidden gem for sure. I too thought it was going to be an uneventful stop. I was blown away by the beautiful landscape and the low costs. By far, top five places in the world for me.

I've been going to Budva/Montenegro and Sveti Stefan since I was 8 years old. It is a gem as the country is beautiful and of course Budva is the new Ibiza. I worry that it will change, this year the prices for lodging went way up. Thankfully my family has a summerhome in Sveti Stefan. But food/drinkprices are still on the low side
