When in Manila, go at the following: 1. National Museums (Allot at least a day to visit these museums, you will almost visit the whole Philippines going here.) 1.1 National Museum of Fine Arts 1.2 National Museum of Natural History 1.3 Museum of Anthropology 2. Rizal Park, sunset at the bay 3. Intramuros 4. Binondo (China Town)

If you have a chance, visit the island of Batanes. Filipino agrees that Batanes is the most beautiful island in the whole PHILIPPINES and asia- sort of IRELAND or SCOTLAND mixed with tropics. This place is magical - there are no islands similar in asia I swear you will mesmerize the beauty of this island.

I've noticed there have been a few travelers like yourselves going to P.I and going to these same places (BGC, Intramuros, Makati, Chocolate Hills El Nino) and list goes on, I think it is overcovered and over done in a way and would be refreshing to see someone out there that would cover other places. Guys! We have 7,000 plus islands, go figure right? C'mon lets explore more! Happy Travels and stay safe lads!!! lol

That makes no sense, and completely uncalled for. You can't dissuade them from going to places that has been featured a lot by other vloggers. They'd want to see those places too, even if merely for curiosity, wanting to find out what the fuss is about. You know traveling and vlogging isn't all fun and games. It"s hardwork and could just as easily consume your every waking hour. Vlogging is how they earn a living. Be mindful of giving unsolicited advice on how to do their jobs.

Yeah, Bangkok is kind of mixed throughout- old buildings next to new buildings. You always feel like you're in Bangkok wherever you go. Manila's contrasts seem more dramatic because entire districts have been built that are modern and stand out from the surrounding areas. BGC was basically non-existent just 20 years ago. Makati CBD is older but it's a huge area. So you can feel like you're in a completely different country when you're in different parts of Manila.

Your right, in a way modern Manila or its structures is only around 80 yrs old. The Japanese practically levelled the entire city to the ground with nothing standing but a few buildings. So this city is relatively new and BGC shows it in all it's modern beauty. We somehow built it up to what it is today and we put in a lot into it too! Pinoys are like little ants, they build, build and build. LOL

The old Manila is a Spanish fortress built in 1571 - and is bound on all sides by moats and thick, high walls, with some over 6 metres high. Manila used to be called the Paris of Asia. Unfortunately, large sections of the wall, along with the centuries-old architectures, historic buildings, Iberian-inspired villas, etc., were destroyed during WW2. Parts of the wall are still erect and some areas inside the wall (Intramuros) are well-maintained and restored that will surprise you. It's worth a visit. Speaking from experience, you'd be a lot safer anywhere in Manila than in most US and European cities.

Mabuhay! Welcome to the Philippines!!! Since you are going to the islands, you should add to your itenerary the sardine run and sea turtle watching of Moalboal, Cebu and swimming with the whale sharks of Oslob, Cebu... On the sides of that, you can always visit Kawasan, Tomalog and Samboan falls, all are within southern Cebu islands..Enjoy your stay here..

You must visit Venice Grand Canal Mall in McKinley Taguig it is the most beautiful mall in the Philippines. You must visit also the American Cemetery the historical and the most beautiful cemetery an in the Philippines its very near to BGC SM Aura Mall. About historical and beautiful old Spanish buildings you should not missed Intramuros in Manila. The okada Manila beautiful interior and beautiful Multi color dancing fountain is awesome to watch. I highly recommend these places to you.

Unfortunately, summer is algae season in Boracay. It's ideal to come after the rainy season (normally from June-September) which dissipates the algae; then the island is awashed by the crystalline blue waters, which is what it's famous for. And a bonus: less tourists during these times.
