I think the sport has just evolved and bigger & stronger guys with much better different techniques are getting into the sport!!! This ain't 20 years ago.
Sure travis is loud and annoying and I cringe watching his old videos, but he's still out running events, running the mic, and pulling and smiling even though he's not his old self anymore. He has done and is currently doing more for the sport than anyone else making comments. Good for Travis out there staying in the sport and having fun.
I do hope he finds the fire to compete again though. Dude was BAD back in the day. Maybe not ever at a professional competing level again, but definitely the "final boss" at the end of these type of events.
It’s crazy to see how far Travis has fallen and he’s still relatively young. It’s a done deal. He’s satisfied with coaching sports and announcing matches for his cash. He’s lost all of his trash talk with his opponents now lol. Good for him as long as he’s happy.
"how did I get so bad?" Says he.. is not that he's so bad, the game has just evolved well beyond him. That's what's so exciting about watching a sport grow; more and greater talents are throwing down.
Sport has grown but that's not why hes losing here lol. Prime travis would sweep these people. Prime example is current John mentioning hes not far from his old self, and hes top 3 in 105 category (probs most competitive class), and travis was during that era. But yes the sport has progressed
@@eane7238 do you know anything about Travis? He was at one time the best left handed arm wrestler in the world. He quit training but kept running his mouth. He is a bum who is the equivalent of a high school QB always talking about the glory days while they drink themselves to death. Massive waste of talent but for whatever reason still talks like he’s the best. So yeah he’s a frickin bum
If Travis kept pulling all these years, he don’t even lose for a second. Can’t stop doing something for years, and be right where u left off. #hardwork #dedication #commitment
Travis always seemed legit to me. It could be that he just isn't using TRT like so many other older arm wrestlers who are able to continue competing at a high level, well past what would ordinarily be their prime naturally. Or maybe it's just that he doesn't train. All just speculation on my part.
Unfortunately Travis always had dollar sign eyeballs lol. Shame too. I'm definitely happy for him and where he's at, just miss him flash pinning people lol.
Travis was a beast when the sport was niche. 10 years later It’s just now becoming popular, which makes him seem washed but in reality he’s just an OG.
travis is just enjoying himself stop the beration, a fully trained Travis on modern PEDs would be a challenge for Ermes I reckon Alex Vitaliy and Devon maybe too much but it depends how far he goes.
This is the difference between one guy being on cycle and training and one guy not being on a cycle and not training. If Travis was training and on cycle it wouldnt be close.
there's no fucking way dude said "look at the webbing" at 4:44 after jamming his hand to the ceiling every match before, other guy just did it better that time, live by the cheat die by the cheat
Quick note, to all those knocking Travis, examine the right hand hit he put on Adam and how massive it was. Travis was the best LEFT handed puller for a long time. You can guarantee he waited and expected that hit to be unstoppable. Adam is extremely elite. No one in that room was stopping that hit BUT Adam.
he seems strong but he did fall start with the wrist curl right before go. travis often needs to be first or start even. his style hitting into someone strong who already started is less effective it seems.
@@user9675 Just trying to point out Adam is extreeeeemely high level is all. Travis definitely uses timing to his advantage. If he isn't first he loses and doesn't always win if first either.
It’s common for top rollers to give up or simply lose once they get stuck in hook position , they tend to use their speed and momentum in back pressure to win not true inside strength
@@kevindavis3333 I believe that you have no idea that Travis Bagent was once the best right hander in North America who beat Alexey Voevoda who's considered one of the top arm wrestlers in the world at the time.
@@Allaluca yes sir I know who Travis is. You were referring to the man who beat him. Even though Travis may not be as strong he still tricky. I consider myself competitive at 225 to 240 with anyone.
@@Allaluca we all human an times change lives change. He has been a motivator for me for years. He still very good off the couch just not Top tier in 2022. Still has potential an will make a comeback I'm sure one day to Top Level.
