What I love most about this, is the fact that Travis Barker still remembers, loves and appreciates this special song! He chose THIS song, which was released almost 20 years ago. I can still remember the first time I heard it, and this video is like hearing What Went Wrong for the first time all over again! Cheers Travis, stay safe. Brendan - N. Ireland
No doubt about this song being unique and awesome just like one of their other song "All of This" And Time of my life used to be in my queue right after “What Went Wrong”. Happy Days!
@@XxTheShootingStarxX There is zero percent chance that Tom would deliver this or BCR era vocals on a potential new BCR album. It would be AVA style delivery, with potentially slightly less arena rock guitars.
@@JustJessee do we really wanna hear bcr ? Blink kinda makes those kinda songs anyways and that was the whole point of that doing songs that wouldn't fit into blinks sound
Blink ist unforgettable. Im listening to blink when i was 14.and now, with 32 years,im still listening. Theres still so much power and emotion in these songs.
@@1988pmh I complete agree. I've been listening to blink since I was 8 and I'm now 26! I don't go a day without listening to one of their songs. They're the best.
I’m 27 years old and this just took me back to the 4th grade (2003) when I first discovered your music. I’m overwhelmed at how long it’s been since I heard this song let alone a performance of it with drums. All the nights and after school car rides where I’d closed my eyes, turn on my walkman and daze out just dreaming of something like this have rushed back to me instantaneously. It’s almost dangerous how emotionally swept I feel. I’m almost reduced to tears. The kid I once was is screaming inside of me. No angst, just excitement. Thank you again, Travis!
Ahh, takes me back to 2001 when Rock Show pulled me to TOYPAJ. BEST era EVER. Shaped my teenage life through adulthood. Thank u Travis for this rendition. Wherever u are old Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus & Travis Barker Bromance, i miss u. Wishing u guys a lifetime of bromance and friendship. Love from Singapore.
Travis is awesome for doing stuff like this. For real you rarely see artists adding to old songs. You made my Fing night Travis I would die if you did a studio version of this tho
Fuck I'ma cry. I've drummed along to blink since I was 15, like almost a decade ago. I've played along to this for fun, but this is like, an official *Travis* drum track. Like the thing I should've played along to that didn't exist. And also it's like a whole new song, fuck me dude.
Not sure if you'll ever see this Travis, but there are so many fans (myself alike) that would be blown away by a Box Car Racer reunion. Thank you for not leaving Tom in the dust. Everyone has their creative differences, but you've always stayed true. Thank you for this
Travis, man, I'm going through a split with my daughters mother and I've broken down to this song in the car too many times to count over the last month. (Yes, TOYPAJ is in my CD player 24/7). Thanks for laying this down, gave me a bit of strength I desperately needed.
