It really is insane tbh. Even in a tiny poohole town, if you think about it. For example a Liter of Black Velvet costs $10, TODAY (Somehow it has cost the same amount unaffected by inflation for like 2 decades). There are 22 shots in a liter. Let's get crazy and say 1/3 of it is wasted on overpouring/spilling/etc, now you have 15 shots. Even with tiny poohole bar pricing, let's get crazy and call it happy hour, $2.99 shots of Black Velvet from 3-6pm, that's 15x3=$45. So you spent $10 to make $45 at the very least. And it doesn't level down the higher you go up in price. I think standard practice is even though there are 22 shots in a liter, a shot will cost about 15%-20% of the bottle.

Yeah idk why people think this. Teachers only get paid in the summer if they elect to make their already small paychecks, smaller here where I live. My friend is a teacher for 5 years and her paychecks are less than she made serving… which she still has to do on the side to make money. The teachers make money argument is so stupid bc my friend literally gets an $800 paycheck during the summer. Woww!! Nothing like $800! Don’t spend it all in one place! 😅
