Facts this song does feel like saying goodbye to your ex too or sum shit like that and ngl it kinda hurt especially with 21 verse and the sad Travis feel. Or maybe i was js hurt and could relate but idk😂😢
Nobody fights Satan. Satan as angles are just symbolic. Besides is all one and the same. Fighting an external just means you are fighting yourself. Which means you have issues with accepting yourself and project your fears on the others.
The lyrics really hit when you get out of a relationship. "Where will you go now, now that you're done with me. I don't blame you, you should be done with me.'' DAMN
Oh my god this song is so beautiful, Travis held such a great performance on here, and hearing metro’s adlib then 21’s verse right after was such a nice surprise not to mention James Blake's angelic vocals, loved the experience 🤭
James Blake and Metro got this beautiful relationship of producing haunting melodies. Glad James Blake is getting more noticed. One of my favorite artist the past couple of years.
The beat drop midway through the song is perfect, emphasizes a feeling of tenacity, and grittiness. Flawless, Travis scott keeps cooking with these songs
Wasn’t a huge fan of this album but this song is absolutely beautiful. Gives me massive Impossible vibes, such an ominous and ghostly feeling. Definitely my favourite song on the album along with Lost Forever.
@@Beast-eq9wn Ngl I can see where you’re coming from, this album is definitely a lot more versatile and experimental than Astroworld as there multiple different styles of song on Utopia whereas Astroworld is pretty much one style. My only issue is I’m not a massive fan of all the different sounds on this album, I can see it growing on me though and I’m deffo listening again soon.
I've been humming the melody since this album came out. Amazing song. Production wise and everything else. It sounds so sinister and beautiful at the same time. 21 voice and flow fits perfect in this too
Not only does this song make me feel like a villain, but Jesus the production on this track is near unrivaled. Travis is one of the best in this generation, and Metro is undoubtedly the Dre of this modern era.
I rarely enjoy projects this much on the first listen but this was beautiful, i cant wait to play it again. Well done Trav i'm glad you still care so much about QUALITY
Just absolutely gorgeous. James Blake is a truly special musician. Unreal. Always love a 21 feature. What a beautiful masterpiece. Fave song on the album by far.
I fucking love that this song is the outro to this grand masterpiece of an album. Obviously you can interpret this song as being about ending a relationship or whatever but I feel like this is also Travis talking to the real fans. You've finally heard Utopia after waiting all these years. Now what are you going to do with it? Are you going to reflect the experience of Utopia onto the rest of your life for the better or is this just another album in the myriad of other music to you? I guess it's up to us.
@@STEN1CS "One life, live it, right now." "I forgive myself, I choose to feel good, I choose to feel free." "The things I created became the most weighted, I gotta find balance and keep me inspired." Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Obviously there is just straight bangers at times but the whole album echoes these themes throughout. Trauma, human connection, and most importantly fucking enjoying what we got right now in this life. "Utopia is wherever you are", what do you think that means? Hell, just watch the movie. As someone who lives and breathes music, this album is one of a fucking kind to me.
This album is magnificent, travis worked a lot on it, especially on this song! The song's lyrics tell a lot, its ending, what it was like, and the wrong things it did, even trying to save it. 21 talks a lot about it, congrats to Travis and thanks for the magnificent album!
Amazing. Those background vocals and instrumental’s melody is so jaw-dropping and otherworldly. So melancholic and beautiful that it makes me want to literally go cry a river and jump in it after I’m done. A modern masterpiece.
I got my heartbroken back in august and this song hits so differently now….honestly want to thank Travis for making utopia a whole new experience for me ever since then. “Where will you go now, now that your done with me….”
I'm leaving a comment to tell all of you I finished the album and I think it is one of the best things I've gotten blessed with thank you. Travis made the album of the year and I'm proud to say I was here when it dropped and able to leave a comment on ever video please like them all
The best closer to any Travis Scott album and one of his best songs ever imo. You can feel his pain in the lyrics, the Metro beat, the 21 feature ..it's perfect
This song it's absolutely incredible, everything in It, the metro's production the Travis verse, the adlibs, the James Blake Chorus it's Just a master piece i fotgot how Manny times i played this song and everytime i put my headphones and put this song on i feel like i'm floating!
This is my take but Utopia isn’t a utopia. A dystopia masked as a Utopia. Where these songs may sound dark and melancholic but also upbeat. You can hear a difference in his previous albums. Astroworld was a “rollercoaster of an album”. While You would expect Utopia to have high and upbeat tempos with high pitch vocals which could be seen as the opposite. This album labels a world where everything is bad ( Travis past 2 years) and how he tries to mask it over the rollout of utopia and with his music . Throughout the rollout he seems happy but in the album, it’s slower and gives you more of feel of the music. All the clues are all pointed to ESCAPE PLAN / MAFIA where he is basically trying to escape everything and have everyone join together to be like minded in this dystopia and become a utopia. At the end of SIRENS, the girl realizes their not in a Utopia but a dystopia in the mind of a utopian creating A HUGE ILLUSION.
