Travis Tritt surprised the packed crowd at Tootsies by playing a set in the top floor bar. I happened to be in the front row watching the previous band before he showed up.
I had no idea TT was the kind of musician that could pick up another man's guitar and play such a complex song, and play it like he's playing his own guitar. That was fun.
People tend to put country artists in a box. Not all of them are Luke Bryan or Jason Aldean or Florida Georgia line. Travis is a badass and extremely talented along w/ Hank jr and some others also.
Nothing complex about this song. Travis has influenced my music greatly. No Vacation from The Blues is a song He and Gary Rossington of Skynyrd wrote. No vacation is complex.
i loved that Travis had a pick in his pocket, have a feeling he doesnt leave the house without one or two at the ready. the man is a true performer. thats why he is the best
FOLKS THIS IS REAL MUSIC!! ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED SINGERS OF ALL TIME!! MR TRAVIS IS BAD ASS AND WAS BORN A NATURAL ENTERTAINER!! SOUTHERN ROCK AT ITS BEST!!👍😊
My boy from Marietta GA. Hard to believe what passes for country these days. Real nice person, great artist. Country before country died. Now there's a song in that last sentence.
Allen Boyd, you are so right, I knew zToy Caldwell personally and have played with him countless times. Both of us was in the marine corps. He was a great guy, went to his funeral. Sad, only song played at his funeral was can't you see?
That was good medicine, thank you!Travis. I’ve loved your music and you as a human being for many many years. I’m 61 and I hope I see you before I graduate :-) with God all things are possible!!!! Bless you. 🌹🌹🌹🦁🔥❤️🌹🌹
Awesome video! Travis is great! His wife on the left in the white pants, his son behind the drummer and his daughter behind the guitarist. A family outing LOL
back in the days i had the pleasure of having some beers with Mr Travis Tritt at a Bar that no longer exists off of Cobb Parkway near Marietta Georgia, those were some great times no Doubt
To me he is one of the greatest country artists: great voice, great guitar player and entertainer. I was blessed I have him seen live one time he came to Germany. He was driving on to the stage on a Harley!
He did the same in 1996ish in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. It was awesome. The band took a break but Mr. Tritt sat on a bar stool and played acoustic guitar and sang a few songs until the band came back. He was great!
I have to say that I have been a country music fan for the last 50 of my 70 years. I remember TT from many of his hit songs in the 80's and 90's. Sadly it only been in the last few years listening to old stuff here on RU-vid that I have come to appreciate his talent. He has a great voice but damn it this man can make a guitar talk and the banjo too. He is blessed with some awesome GOD given talent for sure.
Travis is like my homie I’ve seen him so many times up front he knows my big ugly ass I love him so much he always gives me his time every time I get close to him I’ve seen him so tired out on road but always gives his fans time I can go on and on what a good guy he is love Travis
I hope these youngsters go and download some MTB and discover how great they were. Toy was a musical genius, and Doug Gray in his prime was as good as any singer in any band. I've been listening to them for 50 years now. Never gets old. Travis did a great job here.
