After 2 months in the Bahamas we finally caught a lobster, but it wasn't the kind we expected. It was even yummier. We also hung out with friends at the Man-O-War sand bar and explored Man-O-War Cay.
We are a young family with 3 boys learning life on a boat. Every week we explore, learn something, fix something, answer something and try to share the true essence of boat life. My first post had an error. The secondary filter is at the generator not the tank. Check at the lift pump. Also try switching to another tank if you have a fuel manifold for the generator. Good luck!

I have heard that BOAT stands for (B)ust (O)ut (A)nother (T)housand), however that should in no means discourage anyone from doing so. I am quite sure that you have heard that one so many times. Keep up the videos, I enjoy them so much.

Cooking a lobster with the meat on top is just a "presentation" thing and is usually steamed or broiled. Cut the tail in half when grilling. It will cook in the shell with butter and lemon juice and then you can flip it over for a nice char on the meat side. Everything else looked great.

Thanks David. Only ever cooked lobster twice in my life. Still have not found a way that I really like. As of right now, Jolene and I both consider lobster way overrated. It has always just been okay for us. So until we find a way to cook it that just wows us we will stick to Conch and Fish!!! Thanks for watching!

Love the videos as my wife and I are ready to take the plunge into Caribbean boating. Please drop the irritating music!! Would like to hear more on fuel,.docking , shore hook up, etc costs. Saw your earlier video on food cost examples. Would like to see more of that.

We have lived in Denton TX for -9 years now. We LOVE the Salt and the carribean, not sure we would be able to do as you have done. I work a corporate job and would love to train my office for a captains quarters..... Do you miss TX?

You people reading my comments may thinnk I rag on these motor boaters, SO let me say, THIS family 's videos/experiences, "true life" trials and tribulations is one HELL OF A LOT Better than MOST other RU-vidrs creating content. Yeah, there's one RU-vidr couple where the Captain is a blooming idiot & doesn't know which end of screwdriver to hold, his wife tries & SHE Should be the Captain but he's an arrogant idiot. There's another family live-aboard where the wife/mother seems to not know any more than the color of her fingernail polish. Then we have the family who seems to be rich enough to pay to get the boat washed off when one bird pooped on it. SO.... THIS family, even though I've made negative statements in videos... does pretty darn good!!!!!!! Love them!!!!!

WOW ! What a neat video. I love Lobster tail, and crab legs. The best crab legs I ever had, was when I was in Alaska. Each leg was as big as your boys arms. We made a group of dentist from Hunting beach CA. in the yacht next to us jealous. However we did share our bounty with them. Look forward to your seeing you adventures every week. GOD BLESS ! ! ! !

Just watched! First..I jumped when the lobster dropped 🤣🤣 second... boys Crack me up at the way they giggle at pee or poop (my son was notorious for this when he was little!) And third... my husband asked which 🦞 tasted better?? (I'm assuming that question was for Chris)
