Hot racing shocks are great but also overkill as the truck weighs only 3lbs and with pistons that come with shock it is a little too stiff. I have a pair of hot racing shocks and used it on a slash and without modifying piston they were really stiff with 30wt oil. I still have the hot racing shocks and the rear slash shocks are going on the front of my trophy truck. Also got brand new. 110mm hot racing shocks for rear. Truck is going to weigh about 15lbs so I'm gonna need big bore shocks.

Yes. Idle is way too high. First check your linkage settings. To check make have car idle and apply brake. If idle lowers or dies the throttle linkage needs to be adjusted. If that’s not the case the carb needs to be tuned. Simply needs lower idle with idle screw setting.

@@haywirerc yeah it would never die out. So have to be the idle screw

@@jimothy11 Loose idle screw on carburetor. Idle should be as low as possible without engine dying. It helps check idle gap by removing filter and seeing gap. Gap should be around a millimeter of space on a traxxas carb.
