when you fill your shocks try to extend the shaft all the way hold the shock at a 45 degree angle when adding the fluid once the piston has some fluid over it, hold it upright and continue filling. youll get much less air trapped under the piston
@@Imperial_Wing The Maxx is a solid truck even in stock form but way overpriced, it also needs the widewax kit so add that on top. Kraton is great too, especially the V5, you can't go wrong with either. Just go with the one that your drawn to the most. I have driven most and my favourite just to rip on loose gravel is the Arrma Talion. Not really offroad like the Maxx or Kraton but it's so much fun and you can really put the power down.
Not touched the chassis and the “give” is in the a arms, bumpers and in part the shock towers / chassis. Those 7075 bulkheads are amazing and the diffs / drivetrain feel so smooth in them. The positives far out way the negatives. I’ve ran a stock maxx, it’s bloody awful for the money so I built a far superior one.

I got the front and rear gpm shock towers they put holes in your body and the stainless steel screws they give you for the rear are to long. The screws also bend when you jump your maxx.
You don't know Vitavon parts, they are extremely strong. It will bash awesome but we will all see when the build is finished and the bash videos are up. Part 12 coming sooooon. GPM parts may bend though but we shall see.
I do not know why you would replace that much. Maxx has been bashing for months on stock gear like a boss. Only stuff i need is skid plates and steer blocks in plastic
Not replaced, built from the ground up. I’ve cracked the plastic bulkhead before so that’s what started it all when Vitavon released their 7075 bulkheads and it just went from there really. I enjoyed doing it....New video up today :)
I'm not a big fan of gpm parts. But this thing does look amazing that's for sure. But those piggyback shocks are kind of a downgrade over the stock Maxx shocks. I tried them.
Looks unreal but you've made it far to heavy for one hundred percent sure bulkheads are way to heavy I did all the front end bits you have vitavon wise thing looks beautiful no lies all depends what you want I've built mine for all round craziness max 6 esc 2200 kv motor. all diffs set up for hard style jumping and bashing same as shocks I tried to add some more parts but it just stopped running the way I wanted no more standing wheelies amd as soon as it goes up just wants to come down quicker
Arms, shocks and main chassis is still plastic so should be fine. The Vitavon is 7075 alloy so it won't bend, especially those bulkheads. I've cracked the plastic ones before. All good 👍
I've lost count, the Vitavon parts alone were close on £400. I can't fully recommend the shocks until I take it out bashing but they look and feel decent and very beefy. Stay tuned..👍
The whys of life are answered by God. They are the meanings of life. Each one must find his answers, and certainly our friend had many difficulties in finding his. I don't think it's a good attitude to question people like that. You need to have more empathy, and put yourself in the place of others. I don't know if this is your case, but asking overly why things show some problem, since if we are all going to die someday, then why do we live. It is basically at this ridiculous point that this road arrives. I'm from Brazil, I managed to import a Traxxas Maxx and I also think it's cool to customize the pieces, but I won't reveal why. Hahahaha
you took this shelf queen out and hit a pebble on the road and bent all the gpm right and now ur too embarrassed to poat the part 12 u claimed was coming soon 2 years ago😂😂
