Got my first rc car last year... went with the rustler vxl. After an expensive learning curve i finally reeled in the control. Such an awesome rc car i live mine. Just took it outta hibernation yesterday after 4mos off. Still as fun as the day i bought it. Keep bashin bro 🤙 thanks for the vid!
It appears the first upgrade I should do is the wheelie bar!! I'm going to get the rock n roll version tomorrow. Last time I bought one was a Grasshopper back 30 years ago. Still have it but I need to figure out how to get it up and running again. I looked at it and the servos have the balloons that covered all the electronics are all messed up. I'm told the battery is toast too. Any suggestions?
I live there too I was just watching videos like this before buying myself one and found this! It’s cool to see stuff you drive by daily like the smiling moose in the background and the skatepark is called the dike if I’m correct! I remember driving past the road by the dirt jump you were at and thinking wow that would make a good jump and here we are!!!!
why was nobody at that skatepark if that were in kansas that park would be packed cause we have really crappy ones in wichita and they are both like 45 mins away
check out HorizonHobby.com they have every one of the traxxas trucks even the xmaxx, or tower hobbies, however support your local hobby shop as they are getting harder and harder to find, keep em in business!
+Fahad Sohail also these prices are for things that are brand new and not used, and its really hard to find a better price for a new one, they are actually priced right, they're businesses so they have to make money to keep providing people with services
Fox-E (Bonzai) you can let off the throttle soon as you get in the air then from there you can go forward by using the brake or tilt backwards by giving it gas
That all depends on the type of motor, lipo, and gears. I'm running stock motor, 2s lipo and 27 pinion with 76 spur gears. Getting up to 90-110 must just be straight shots.
yes. thats what i mean... you need an eight scale system and at least 4s to get those speeds, along with aero mods to stay on the ground.so dropping in a lipo doesnt get you 90 to 110
please don't drive RC cars at skate parks, they are the only place skaters can skate without getting kicked out and by driving an RC car there they can't actually skate in at least half the park I'm not saying you did anything wrong and I'm sure you asked the skater if he minded, but usually don't drive an RC car at the skatepark
Mines is set up the same way but I never bought the batteries to run it had it for almost three years but never ran it I'm in Texas now with a hobby shop 6 blocks away may get me a Lipo batt an get going. Thanks for the video
Cool vid but one little tip I would give you is don't drive it in water or everything in metal (including the wheel bearings) will rust and it won't drive as smooth
