I have the same set up on my slash 2wd. I tried the street tires and the stock tires for a test run in a large parking lot (police station). I used our police radar to check the top speed on several runs and the best I got was 53 mph. Mine kept flipping over like yours until i attatched a few lead weights to the front end. Certainly is a blast tinkering with these things. I hope you post a video with your spoiler idea and see if it helps. Cool vid yall!!
Awesome! I love tinkering with these trying to squeeze everything we can out of them 😝 We will definitely be getting back out with it soon. @@RCInsiders Yea I have the traxxas slash 4x4 vxl fox edition. ALL stock. I have the 3s battery ordered and arriving Saturday lol. Watching your videos makes me more excited about it!
@@RCInsiders Hopefully will be ok just leaving stock pinion in? I know wouldn't be as fast of course. I'm thinking it would be more versatile for different areas with lower gears.
Yes absolutely. Only changed gears for speed runs & then back to stock. The Slash is the ultimate basher & with a few mods can dominate the track :) Your gonna love the 3s power. Stop back by & let me know how you like it?

Hey! Thanx!! The VXL model doesn't usually come with a battery. Traxxas says they want you to be able to "choose" youe level of performance. The VXL can run Nimh batteries & up tp 3s Lipo. The speed increases a ton when you go 3s. Once in a while I see a combo with a battery, but usually expensive. Are you getting one? Thanks for dropping by & happy bashing my friend!!!! #RCInsiders
