M2cified Sledge fully upgraded. What’s up y’all? Just a quick run with my all-time favorite RC for strength by far it is the toughest RC I have in the fleet I really enjoy my Kratons. There’s just something about the Sledge that intrigues me especially after upgraded if you’re interested in the upgrades stick around to the end, I go over in detail exactly what I have done, if you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment.

Every time I go out there and bash it’s crazy I never even think of that song any other time. that’s what I like to do hit those jumps over and over again as many times as I can, during one session, it really shows the durability of the truck 🚀💪🤘😎

Thank you, my friend Rich we’re finally getting to that time of year here in Florida where the rain slows down so the jumps will last longer. The track will go to all dirt so my sessions will end up looking like dust clouds it makes it alot of fun to drift around the corners before hitting the jump. the sledge is a monster never seen an RC car take the abuse the sledge takes over and over and keeps asking for another pack. Happy bashing my friend from California.🤘😎👊

Brother you should have a bash convention at your spot. Other than the thunder rc guy I've seen no one else bash on your level. Well probably Talbot. Keep building and bashing. Cameras and sound are on point, as well.

You have a truly awesome set up...both with the car and the track. Btw, I took a Sledge to the lower leg a month ago and the wound is still healing. So whatever you do....don't take a sledge to the face! ;-)

The sledge is the greatest once it’s all modded out. All I need is the reverse motor mount and a 1650 kv. I was running a max 8 but the damn thing caught fire out at Folsom lake in 110 degree heat. So I’m running a max 6 on the 2250kv with 16/50 gears which works ok but I need a bit more I think

Dang brother having fires sucks I’ve had a few in my days. I ran a similar set up like that. In the beginning it works, but it’s nice to have more power when you want it.

Thank you Dan I put those the fans together with a bunch of other parts I had from other fans but I bought the main part off of Amazon. They had a 10 pack special about a year ago but I’m about to upgrade them to the new thunderoos fans

There are 13mm hex extenders for the traxxas sledge gpm makes them and they are pretty tough I have them on mine

Thanks man I’ve been running JBI 20 mm extenders on each side for a very long time on this truck with no issues no more rubbish I don’t know how good those big hex extenders would work with the plastic hubs. I’m running aluminum hubs so I think that makes a big difference.

Hey are you running the m2c front driveshafts in the rear? I noticed they look like CVD’s. the reason I’m asking is cuz I’m having some trouble with my m2c shafts and treal hubs where I can’t get them set in the stock position with the links without binding from the shafts being a bit too long. It’s really pissing my off and I’ve been building this sledge for a few months using yours and inspiration because it’s so badass and the final step was doing these hubs. Everything went smoothly but now I’m getting this binding and it’s got me ripping my hair out. I noticed you have everything set in the stock position with no issues and it’s kinda pissing me off more because I swear I have everything together to the tee.

Yes, I’m running CVD in the rear as well. I do that on pretty much all my cars. The reason for that is it’s a smoother set up. Also, when you break a link or a arm you don’t lose the dog bone they work flawlessly, but I’m also using M2c‘s outdrive cups on the diffs

I have a few components upgraded to gpm. I broke my front left lower control arm... can you offer any advise on new arms? Use traxxas replacements or upgrade to aluminum?

Hello, thanks for watching. Not sure if you’ve watched my playlist on this truck. I’ve been running it extremely hard since the release day of the sledge and yet to break an arm so I would have to say stay stock. Never go aluminum arm if you’re bashing hard. Hope this is what you’re looking for.

Awesome bro. I had the normal M2C motor mount but I just got the reversed mount and the 1650kv motor to go with it but my motor wires don’t reach with it and I’m not sure how you extend the motor wires without messing them up. I tried it with another motor and it just cuts out. What am I doing wrong bro ?

Thanks Jacob you have to extend your motor leads the easiest way to do it is if you have an old motor just cut the leads off cut them to fit and solder them to the other wires. There’s plenty of videos on RU-vid on how to do it. It’s hard to explain it. The best way is to watch a video on splicing the two wires together.

@@jacobhenson3952 what do you mean rear support the rear tower support? If so, they have not made one for the Sledge yet, but it hasn’t been an issue.
