This one is just like mine. I went through and rebuild my whole truck as well. I based it off my dads old T-Maxx and now minr is nearly the exact same. Truck runs like a champ

I just got a used T Maxx earlier today, it came in two pieces, and it has run in 15 years! I will try to restore it by the end of this summer!

My first TMaxx in 2002 was that exact color. The best color in my opinion.

How hard is it to find a body. And if u can find them where should I look?

U need a 3.3 trx engine

its a .15ci, also a 2.5cc.. not a 1.5ci, thatd be huge. same size as the trx 2.5, just marketed to seem bigger by using the 2.5 word. wouldve kept reverse.

The xmaxx 1.5 isn't a .15 nitro engine.... The 1.5 stands for the displmament... It's more like a .12 maybe little smaller.... because the tmaxx 2.5 is a .15 engine.... My team associated 3.0 came with the a 3.0 engine and that was a big bore .18 small block. Which nitro .18s are big bore small blocks ect.. .20 n 21s are big blocks n up.. so the .18 is the largest small block nitro engine it's basically a bored over .15 bigger piston same stroke.. I have all those engines in my man cave lol.. on a shelf I cleaned em all up ect now they are for looks with a few of my old nitros and my new nitros.. I have the tmaxx 1.5 2.5 n 3.3 my fav is the 2.5 I dunno why but it is out of those trucks.. I have the hpi Savage with a LPR .32 spec 4 which is beast it's hard to control I have a over sized carb on it I machined at work in the military. I worked with nukes and I got to use a machine shop to make aluminum and titanium parts for the warheads ect.. mostly bolts and mounts.. but most if not all of us made things like key chains and just killed time honestly.. so I ended up bringing my nitros to work and we would drive them around threw out the day.. we only worked on those warheads ect once every 3 weeks so the remainder was nothing so I would bring my nitros and electrics and my buddy had a few 1/5 scale gas two stroke trucks he would race me with lol.. so I made engine parts even went as far to make a twin .28 nitro big block putting two O.S .28s together which was fun lol.. I don't have anything to drop it into yet I'mma have to build a special engine mount or double mount and extended frame for one of my trucks or maybe a car who knows atm.. my fav fav fav nitro truck I have is my Team associated MGT 3.0 it's supposed to be a 1/10 scale but it's a little bigger around 1/8th honestly same size as my team associated MGT 8.0 in length ect only difference really is the tire height and frame width.. that's all.. I modded the hell out of my MGT 3.0 I built up the Big bore .18 I bored it out more built a spacer for the block and installed .28 piston and rod in it I bored the carb intake to be able to use my traxxas 3.3 carb and it runs like a rapped ape. I tuned it I changed the gearing and it hit 68.3 mph top speed pretty damn fast for a 12 yr old truck n engine. But I done that work in 2009 my wife got me another big block LPR .32 spec 2 for my 30th bday last July which she didn't know the difference between the spec 2 n 4 which is fine lol.. but I put that engine into my MGT 3.0 which it's faster now I haven't bothered checking speed because I'm more into mud slinging and going up trails with go pros on them which is more fun then flying down the street and taking a chance on ruining a $700 + nitro truck it's got more into it then that but it was my first nitro truck and my dad got it for me and he passed away in 2010 because of stage 4 lung cancer.. so I try to keep it going he raced some as well. And I have his MGT 8.0 n .46 and his Tmax 1.5 n 2.5 which I have them on my shelf next to my tmax's with pictures of me n him behind them.. and I run those maybe once a month for about 10 mins and then put them up just to keep them running and not sit n lock up ect.. and one day they will be passed to me n my wife's two sons n daughter if she gets into it.. my wife has a Xmaxx on 8s lipo and it straight up kills my nitros lmao
