Congratulations on the UDR, let me add that the Traxxas batteries are junk and will puff if you are not super careful. I've been in this hobby for twenty years and i can give you some sound advice. First i would look into batteries from a company by the name of SMC. Second get rid of their charger and get yourself a true hobby grade charger. Just those two things alone will truly help you out and i hope you have years of fun with it!
I’m new to this, I bought the new C8 and then I saw the UDR and now I have to get it and since they don’t come with batteries or chargers I’ve been confused but I’m starting to get the hang of it. But what did you mean by “not super careful” and is 2 3c lipid 5000m the best choice of battery for the UDR? Feel free to add any advice cause I’m new to the RC world
@@slappytaffy895 So as far as being careful what i mean is by charging and discharging the batteries. The Traxxas chargers do not allow for proper charging of the batteries and monitoring of the batteries in the process. Also the Traxxas batteries are not the greatest by any means. SMC make some of the best batteries i have seen as far as longevity and performance! Just do you research on good chargers and batteries and you should be fine over all.
