I'd drive truck stock. Replace parts as they break. But I did research all the parts car needs with out going crazy and keeping track as stick a possible. Ppl tend to over upgrade the car.
Reach your hand in under the driver's side. Tire, that's where the module is for the lights. Just feel around for a button and use the directions. That came with it to cycle through all of the features
I have had mine for about 10 years. Still one of my favorite trucks. A 29 tooth (I think) is the only mod and it keeps right up with my Mojave EXB. Still one of the best looking /scale handling trucks money can buy. Suspension is amazing. People hate Traxxas but they support their vehicles for a long time. I can still get parts for my 25 year old original TMaxx. 👍🏻
It's a great truck, but my Mojave is a nightmare and handles well. UDR it's a little slower out of the box. No doubt it moves a little prettier Because of realism, and that is commendable.😊
I want to buy 1. It's just that the price us too high and I know that it's a must to get certain specific after market parts because stock parts don't last. I've already researched and know exactly what this car needs ithout going over the top. Goal to keep truck as stock as possible with few after market parts so the car can be durable as it should be. Not a lot of alluminum parts either . But the servo fir example I'd run it stock but that's 1 of first main things that need o upgrade. The wheel lugs are plastic and strip, so those need upgrade lower Rear suspension arms once they break wear out need up grade. Between the truck costing alot and at same time needs more .in invested, just to get what you should have originally recieved brand new. I'm waiting fir next version come out. If it's not to spectacular then I'll stick to original when it's half price onsale. So when I buy the parts needed it won't be over priced. Thus one I gotta play the long game with. But this will be the 1 car I want. I don't want a bunch if rc cars just ibe that performs like I want.. I do wonder hiw traxxas I'll improve on next udr model when and if they do. Thus truck us awesome as is. But it's just too expensive and needs upgrades to be right. Once price drops amthrn I can buy the parts truck needs then it'll ve right. But I'm not guna waste 400 bucks. Thsts a whole nother rc car. Ps i could care less for led lights 😅
They’re totally different vehicles, I got the UDR for the scale suspension. The Mojave has it beat as a basher but lacks all the realism that the UDR has. Different strokes for different folks, one isn’t better than the other.
@Chargersctpk i beg to differ udr is made of glass next to the mojave so your right the udr is a class or 2 under the mojave ya want something that brakes on half the voltage is supposed to take i mean come on ive had both if your a scale guy that really just wants to look at a shelf queen. Out of the box straight to a track, the mojave is gonna out last the porcelain udr.
