Traxxas XMaxx Hobbywing MAX 4 10s LiPo 1100kv and 800kv Test 

The ESC can handle 12s (KV less than 560) but the 1100KV motor is only rated for 8s. 10s means you over volted the motor by 25%

Nice, but I would be careful with those KV motors. The Max 4 is not designed for those motors. Good stuff anyways. I don't think that the Xmaxx drive train would take that power long term. Just my 2 cents. The highest gearing you can do with that 1100kv motor is 25/35 and 8s.

I don't think I've ever seen anybody run 2 5S batteries or any 5S batteries for that matter lol Cool to see 👍 Didn't seem to like it very well though 🤣 I love seeing people testing different combinations. Keep it up. 🔥👍 I subbed ✌️

Awesome what an Inspiration! I fried a hobby wing max 6 or maybe stock motor on xmaxx last week w 2 brand new Lectron Pro 4s 7600mah lipos.. Now getn ideas for upgrades. Lol

Esc was great way better than the xlx2 well know fire starter. Hobbywing really stepped the game up on this one...

the components cant handle the power of the max 4 lol. those max 4s wood run beta on my electric mountainboard on 12s. from my experience using 12s on my eboards i run btw 140-170kv motors.

thats called more money than brains .... my kraton 1/5 roller has a max5 with a toro beast 528 , reefs 777 servo , 6s power and its a handfull to drive . wish i had money like that to burn

Bad driving, i dont see mechanical failure, that was driving error. With that setup you have to drive it accordingly
